This happened to me when I was in school. I didn't have a boyfriend lol, but I did starve myself :/ My mother was the reason why I did it. She fat shames me everyday. The list is endless. I'm doing fine right now, me and my mother are finally making it up again. Standards are hard.
Exactly, I think the same! If he's complaining about your weight even when you are completely fine and healthy, break up with him because he's not saying it for your health, he's just saying it for his own purposes... if you are indeed a little overweight and he cares about your health he'll never going to make you starve, someone who really cares about you and really loves you is gonna promote it by doing workout together, maybe going to dance together or doing sports, by eating better together because he wants you to be healthier, etc., etc....
the lady who was starved by her father, she literally has the same father as me, when I was young when I got naughty, my dad just locked me in the dark room and let me starved. but then, he change alot, he said sorry to me cuz he did such an horrible thing. well I'm glad that my dad change tho.
I love how that the lady in the white shirt's immediate response was "you should break up with him" as soon as she told her her bf told her she was fat
I immediately started crying when the one girl said that her father starved her for being naughty. It remembered me of how I was starved when I was in the mental hospital. It took me a long time to recover from that and even after I got out of the hospital I still started to panic whenever I felt that I was hungry. In other countries people starve because they have no food and over here people get starved for misbehaving. This world deserves more justice.
They did many questionable things. One time I was standing in the hallway with my best friend (we got to know each other in the mental hospital 3 years ago. We're still in contact) and we were talking. Then a bunch of people (therapists and other staffs) walked in our direction. I think around 5 people. We already had a bad feeling about this so we hugged each other. As they approached us they forcefully pulled us apart. I remember myself screaming and yelling at them, trying to get away from them. And my friend was just standing there completely shocked unable to do anything. They dragged us to our rooms and locked us in. I was sitting in my bed and crying my lungs out. My therapist came to my room and scolded me. The only sentence which I still remember is ,,You can't just hug a girl". I still try to figure out what she meant because this "girl" was my best friend. She went out and left me locked in my room for the rest of the day.
To the girl who was starved by her father.. my heart broke into a million pieces... Noone deserves such a treatment... You're such a brave child... I'm crying..

I get so emotional watching these social tests done in China or South Korea, people are so kind and really helpful. I'm from Brazil and I don't think there would be many people around here who would approach asking if everything is okay, if the person needs help, much less buy something to help. I was her.. except it was my mother starving me. Only a few days at a time as the average person would die 7 days without food. (I can now go 3 months without a single drop of food but that's irrelevant) as I was starved as a child. I developed a food hoarding and binge eating disorder. I'd spend £70 on snacks per week and hide them in my wardrobe then binge eat on them. I'm now 5'1 and weigh 85kg.. I've also completely given up on men, I know what they like and it isn't what I am. 🤷♀️
That poor woman in green 😪. No child should ever be deprived of basic needs or love. Broke my heart. But I just love the basic goodness in people all these videos show. Wouldn’t get any of that where I am!

They are such beautiful people. The fact that they stop and take their time helping people in need, even going as far as giving their own snacks, is just beautiful. This goes to show that there's still hope for humanity.
My heart is breaking for the woman who was starved as a child as a punishment, it's horrendous that she had to experience that. But I also noted what she said, "Your boyfriend can't understand the feeling of starvation." The people who put us through suffering and ask ridiculous things of us are not thinking about how we're hurting, they're only thinking of themselves. It's a good reminder whenever some of us fall into these traps of "This person who says they love me expect this of me so I should bend to their will." If they are willing to disregard you and your needs, they do not deserve you.
The girl who bought her milk and was crying cause she was starved by her dad. A parent should not do that to their kids, even if they're overweight they should just control their food intake not starve them. Edit: even if they're naughty starving a kid is still not good.
@@softsquishysuga so? Just because she was naughty doesn’t mean she should be starved. When I was naughty my parents didn’t starve me. That’s just child abuse

He said he has diabetes. hypoglycemia happens only when he's not controlling his sugar level well or when his medications are working overboard. His candies are used for emergency incidences only, not like it happens all the time. But it's still very kind of him to offer it to her though.
I dont think you should say that, or maybe you didnt word it right. The people like this girl harm themself for other people attention/love is already hurtful inside, they're desperate & they'll do anything to keep that love. Most important thing for them to learn is to love themself. Saying they dont "deserve" is very harsh. The only person that dont deserve that love is the person who use that against them, force them to hurt themself, like the bf here. Dont put fault in the victim.
Sam Loveless i think you misunderstood it, the person was talking about people like the bf that don’t deserve to date because they are forcing their partner to hurt themself
@@samloveless You misunderstood. I was talking about the vice versa. I agree with what you said, but i meant the abuser doesnt deserve to date anyone. Not the victim.
! Idk but for me, if I'm truly in love with someone, I'd think everything they do is super cute and adorable that I couldn't bring myself to say mean things ever
we can see the crowd effect very clearly in this video. When one person stops to help the girl, everyone else will stop too, but if no one stops, passers-by will think like "other people will help her" and so no one will help that girl. So when you see someone in need, don't rely on passersby, If everyone thinks someone will help her, no one will.
The diabetics man, the young girl in green, the guy who called himself fat were so kind hearted... Everybody deserves to be loved for how he/she is!! Fortunately there still people around who have the heart to help and support!! Thanks for showing this, it's heartwarming 🥰

I'm not educated on Asian culture at all but Europe (where I'm from) has always potrayed Asia as a very strict and closed-minded continent. Watching videos like this makes me realize that we're all human and all need a little positivity and kindness from time to time. I'm ashamed that my own "open-minded" culture brainwashed me into thinking that only North-America and Europe are the same. Thank you for this beautiful video.
Our asian parents are strict cause I think they grew up in a harsher and stricter environment, they also give tough love(will most likely bring you food or fruit whenever they yelled at you or smth)
I personally think that it's only the culture differences and such otherwise, there are different types of ppl everywhere in the world. I've seen stories of even western ppl regarding their parents either being strict or not caring and while living in Asia myself, I've seen parents very strict and some very lenient
It's a different experience for everyone. many Asian parents lived a tough life, had to go through alot (considering many Asian countries were robbed off, took long to stabilise themselves etc). So they are strict & hold on to their beliefs but alot of them want the best for their children..in their own way. It isn't as strict as it's portrayed in western countries. There's love & compassion too, sometimes it's more hidden & given in cold form but it's there.
You're probably not asian. Some of us are well-disciplined because of such punishments. We're used to it tho. Sometimes spme of us are getting hit by a belt just to learn our lesson
@@elaijahgarcia6452 Agree. I remembered the story of my mother kneeling on salt or rice when they did something wrong and she said that it is another way to discipline them.
@@elaijahgarcia6452 its still extremely damaging to the child, esp punishments like beatings & neglecting the child, is done out of anger and not love. being beat or starved as a kid is trauma inducing, and if that's the way that a parent 'disciplines' a child, then they're not very good parents. most asian parents also went through the same thing when they were children, but if they say "i turned out fine" after they have disciplined you like above mentioned, then they have obviously, not turned out fine. abuse is *never* okay, and it is still abuse even if the child turns out well-disciplined.
@@elaijahgarcia6452 I am an Asian and my parents did not starve or hit me for the sake of "disciplining". I'm 23 now and I don't have a single record of misbehaviour at school and university at all. My education is doing just fine too. I have also been told by relatives, friends, teachers, and acquaintances that I am a well-behaved person everywhere I go. I guess sometimes it's not the disciplining methods that shapes us, but the simple fact that we can understand how much our parents love us and want the best out of us.
the girl saying his dad starve her just because she's naughty is the saddest part of this video. she didn't hesitate to run to the convenience store to buy some food because she definitely know how it feels starving all day.

No parent should ever starve their child even if they have been bad 😭😰
I immediately started crying when the one girl said that her father starved her for being naughty. It remembered me of how I was starved when I was in the mental hospital. It took me a long time to recover from that and even after I got out of the hospital I still started to panic whenever I felt that I was hungry. In other countries people starve because they have no food and over here people get starved for misbehaving. This world deserves more justice.
Wait what u got starved in a mental hospital?! Holy what is wrong with people nowadays :(
wth mental hospital do to you?? they make you starve?
You were starved in a mental hospital...!?

I agree with what you said, it's wrong to do so. But back then, punishments were harsh. My teacher tells her stories of how she was punished. She was starved and put in the balcony to sleep in the cold nights, just because she tore her slipper accidentally while running. My dad got harsher punishments. He was beaten up with bricks, metal sticks. Ppl weren't so educated and careful back then, so maybe that's why they treated kids with such harsh punishments. This was a very common act in my country back then.
@FATOUMATA DIALLO what does that have to do with being African or not
@@nawaribnatchowdhury2520 the lady doesn’t look older than 30 though? I am 23 and I’ve been punished a lot, but neither me, nor any of my peers were starved by their parents intentionally...

People who force someone to do something harmful to themselves don't deserve to date anyone until they are content with themselves.

I'm ashamed that my own "open-minded" culture brainwashed me into thinking that only North-America and Europe are the same. Thank you for this beautiful video.

@@aste856 lol same with my mother and even I'm not asian 🤧
I really appreciate channels like this which showcase how the real Chinese society is like!

3:58 the woman in green made me cry. What kind of father starves their children that's such a cruel punishment😰
I know right crazy
