That moment you realise this is the moment before the unevitable end. The moment you have been fighting for. The bond you have made with the characters who you are uncertain of if they're going to survive. The anticipation of what is going to happen, is all effort enough or is it all in vain. You are eager to finish it, but sad because you know there probably isn't going to be another chance to meet your friends again. Postulate: When Hackett asks Traynor to see if all the fleets are ready she types out a series of commands on her datapad. The Galaxy map comes to life, each flashing dot representing a fleet. Every dot representing a system of people who's ships get tightbeamed that signal and approach their relay. Batarians, Asari, Turians, Salarians, Krogan, Rachni (if rescued) Quarians and Geth (if peace is achieved.) Each relay activates and jumps its fleets to the Sol system. There are brief cutscenes that show this depending on the decisions made by the player in game. When the fleet arrives to Earth instead of the bland general cutscene we get, there should be one that reflects the decisions and war status that the player earned. Those ships and species that Shepard collected should have parts to play in the cutscene with the fleet flying to Earth. There should be Quarian Heavy frigates being Escorted by Geth fighter squadrons flying in tight methodic formation. Alliance carriers being Escorted by Turian frigates. The ragtag fleet brought by the Batarians led by Balak (if he survived) and Aria's mercenaries and the Terminus fleet being all kinds of different armed ships. The Asari fleet formed up led by the Destiny Ascension, The Salarian fleet coming in led by Kirrahe (if he survived), but immediately "cloaking" as they perfected the stealth drive used by the Normandy. The Krogan being seen not only on Turian ships, but also in ships of their own, led by Wrex (or Wreav). The Drell and Elcor also being present aboard these ships with a shot perhaps of Drell loading up the Elcor making them truly look like giant tanks. The Leviathan can make an appearance as well if the player did that storyline. There should be a shot of the Cerberus defectors led by Miranda (if she survived.) Instead of Joker just saying "This fleet reporting that fleet reporting" it should cut to every race announcing themselves like a Star Wars movie. Thoughts?

I cried like a fucking baby at the end of Mass Effect 3. The images of Anderson and Joker just made me break down. Despite how I feel about the ending, still the greatest trilogy of all time.
Still ironically is that this game called Mass Effect 3 and most especially this music track called Stand Strong, Stand Together is what finally got me more liking the Mass Effect series back in 2012 even before Mass Effect Andromeda and one of the prequel book series to Mass Effect Andromeda called Mass Effect Andromeda Nexus Uprising.
So which among you will follow me into the gates of hell!? Which among you will help me kick them open!? Which among you is willing to die for a better tomorrow?

I had been waiting 6 years to finally fight the Reapers. This speech opened the fight. I wasn't even on the edge of my seat, I was on the fucking floor half an inch away from my TV screen. Doesn't get anymore epic than this.

And when you complain, the head chef says he made it himself and it was prime dog crap and he's not sorry he fed it to you. After all, the feces is UPLIFTING and INSPIRING.
I've said this before, but, Mass Effect 1 had the story, Mass Effect 2 had the story and the gameplay while Mass Effect 3, no matter what people say of the ending had the story, gameplay and finally, the best characteristic, the ability to tear out emotions of the player through deaths of loved characters including Thane, Legion, possibly Miranda and Mordin. Through lines such as "Had to do it, someone else might get it wrong." from Mordin and Legion's "Does this unit have a soul." Emotions tore
@synsensa This guy on devianart wrote an amazing alternate ending were a fourth ending lets you gamble everything on your EMS. The other endings make sense because there the options that help the reapers because you've proved that they can be beaten conventionally, and that they're afraid. The child turns out to be harbinger. If you read it, you find that it actually makes more sense than the indoctrination theory.

You forget, that big red button was surrounded by reapers itself, not quite as easy as it sounds.
Goosebumps.
those reapers did an amazing job of defending the citadel.
Mass Effect is like wine. Gets better with age.
this song always gives me some serious goose bumps
Simon Stagg: Well Done Bruce You Saved Master Conker.
Batman: We're Both Justice, Stagg.
Conker: That's What I Am.
Simon Stagg Come On Sir.
Commander, are you ready to bring the might of the galaxy to bear on the reapers?
Why do you do when there is something caught in your throat? *sunglasses* Hackett out. YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I call upon the N7 Special Ops team, soldiers from all corners of the galaxy united as one, to show those Reapers the true meaning of fear.
@synsensa
This guy on devianart wrote an amazing alternate ending were a fourth ending lets you gamble everything on your EMS. The other endings make sense because there the options that help the reapers because you've proved that they can be beaten conventionally, and that they're afraid. The child turns out to be harbinger.
If you read it, you find that it actually makes more sense than the indoctrination theory.
this song always gives me chills everytime. everytime.
