twitch otp here! really enjoyed this vid and thought it was well structured and well written, but i do have one problem. While yes, rageblade do work against a tanky comp or if you have a yuumi/lulu as a supp, it's often very subpar in dmg compared to infinity edge. The reason why rageblade works on champs like kogmaw, varus and kalista is that they have something in their kit that benefits from attack speed: Kogs w, varus w on hit passive, kalista movement etc. Twitch meanwhile don't have any of that, just extra dmg and range form ult, which IE benefits heavily from. That's my take, great guide as always!
@@iTzzTronco the build/ runes are pretty much the same. you go bork, greaves, runaans and the IE. After your core items you can begin to itemize against the enemy: kraken for squishes, ldr for tanks/bruiser, phantom dancer to spaceglide etc. The IE build is better 99% of the time so no need focusing on rageblade 👍
IE sure is more dmg but that's all it is, doesn't offer armor/magic pen while rageblade does and it's an on-hit item which twitch LOVES on-hit!
@@iTzzTronco 2 main builds, hardcore twitch otp here, you have tek89 which is Bork>runaan>titanic>cleaver/witsend/triforce/gore/jaksho/radiant>legendary or mythic items mentioned before. Now the only other real build is crit with Bork>kraken>ie/runaans>situational. kraken>runaans>ie>situational.

To add to the benefit of Presence of Mind-rune, Twitch gets great value for the mana regen for damaging enemy champions, as his poison ticks refresh the effect for quite a while (6sec?).
rat enjoyer here, i've been following your vids for a while and i like how in depth you can be!
but i have recently found success with LT, triumph, alacrity and coup or last stand with slightly magical footwear and cookies so you have mana for lane.
twitch loves to buy his damage items asap so he can win at 6, which usually leaves boots for later anyways. you get to save 300g which you won't make with treasure by the time you get to bork + you get 10 more ms. but resolve is certainly nice, i haven't though to try revitalize with enchanters so i'll give it a shot next game i get one.
oh and just to clarify, rageblade is fun but it's certainly not the best mythic every game. twitch benefits from burst like Infinity edge much more and there's an argument to be made that you can even go titanic third and get rageblade 4th.
Few things.
Boots, is what I have somewhat problem with. I hate not being able to buy boots then I want/need to.
Let's say you are getting camped after a double kill bot. And you just can't away with no boots and need to blow your summoners every time so you can't engage on them and snowball your lead.
Another situacion where you would miss out from not having boots is if your support is playing to passive (we all know those supports) and enemy team is going aggro and poke you. Boots help you dodge alot of skill shots and onve again not having that MS hurts alot.
Another thing abaut boots is that I love to gank mid. It's extremly easy gank if oportunity presents itself because no matter what elo people just dont even generate the option of enemy twich cooming mid if he's playing ADC. So far I got a kill mid every time I did that. And boots helps you to stay in range, get a good drop on enemy mid laner and come back to your lane in time to catch your wave. (This is situacional but works well after you pushed in the wave, backed and then ran str8 to mid and just gank trough the lane with your invis).
So this might be just a personal preference but I hate being locked out of boots.

I take Cut Down and as a third choise I go Titanic Hydra x) I think this is much better strategy.

What about ult hunter for secondary runes
I am trying my hardest to learn the character because I just picked up LoL yesterday and I am coming out of bot games with 0 kills, I have no idea what most of this means.
I think you need to learn the basis of LoL first. Learn to farm, the different stages of the game. Keep playing and you will eventually understand how to play and then focus on the specifics of a character.
I personally find most succes with pta for early picks and mad dmg with bork>runaans>ie>ldr

Every time I go tempo I regret not taking pta, miss so many kills
Twitch shouldn't need Lethal Tempo to do his job as what is effectively a late game ranged AoE assassin
You will find that PTA has a greater value in low ELO where raw burst damage usually takes priority.
However, at higher ELO positioning and spacing become more important, and lethal tempo’s extra range is arguably necessary when playing a low mobility carry like Twitch.
@@Justanothermusicnerdxo the issue here is that PTA helps Twitch in the early game where LT doesn't unless his support is carrying him

adjust to your opponents. i always go tempo, only when the enemy adc is draven i go pta

In my 2y ranked experience, haven't gotten lulu support (with twitch) even once, only mages and janna's

The issue with twitch is well.. he's squishy, any cc he's dead. I love twitch, he's my favorite adc to play but I highly recommend something like this. Berserkers/Tabis > Bork > Heartsteel > Hurricane > Titanic > Cleaver(tanks)/Frozen Heart(AD)/Force of Nature(AP) This offers all the damage you need as well as tons of survivability! I personally like heartsteel over jak'sho's and since you're not really building resistances I just don't see it, with heartsteel you can average 600-800 extra hp a game and I generally average 6.5kHP on twitch. This allows me to be a bit greedy and survive for those nice glorious DONG sound effects every time you proc it! If they have a squishy comp yea I'll go the normal high dmg twitch build, but if they're tanky, have assassins, a master q, or whatever I'm simply going the on-hit tank route and surviving that shit!
all i have to say i hate the RAT who thought it would be a good idea to give him stealth with a 30% attack speed boost and a free poking tool that poisons u
Skill issue
The "poking tool" is E + W, which is almost half ur mana, not really useful for poke if you can only use thrice before having to back
