That's what nothing exceptional means, he just did everything normal perfectly, without any exceptional plays, which is still really awesome since almost nobody can do that to this degree
Dont even main adc, but seeing how influential adc players like Guma really inspire me to play more efficent, but aswell make me want to play adc. Since as adc is rly underapriciated even tho their mythic is one of the best especially when considered as late game carry, but now come online earlier. Adc can win or break games. With the amount of dps and sieging they can do. Nice vid. Wonder if this is applicable in lower elos. Would be nice if you did this for mid and top.
definitely harder to execute on low elo because junglers doesn't know shit about this game. You can try to tell them your game plan but they will autopilot and forget everything you just said.. Or just flame you for even trying.
i would rather say you can use the concepts but not expect the jungler to do the right thing, but getting a good understanding in what matchups u have to get what kinda lane states is important. jungler pathing is kinda unpredictable in lower elo but to know in generell when u have to crash when it bounces when u slow push freezes proper resets are foundamentals not on an in depth knowledge like a chall player but getting a basic idea about it helps a lot
And then you will get a braindead lux or xerath support who doesnt understand wave management which will use abilities on your freezed minion wave or force a skirmish with them in your freezed minions which will end you up losing it due to the wave stack.
Really interesting to me how he almost as a rhythm to his play, clicking and keypress in a specific timing to help him be ready for movement any direction. Feel like a lot of players are just clicking at rapid speed while moving but you can see he is much more measured about it.
Amazing videos as always! I really wish there would be a way to watch those real good ADC players' full gameplays with English subs. I love watching Hanql a lot as I'm also maining ezreal. But, just watching you break down his landing helps a ton that where I struggle the most.
Ofc it would it is a strategy game after all. It needs knowledge of the game, like wave management, back timings, trading, roaming, warding, jg routes, matchups, objectives, map awareness, mechanics, micro and macro decision making, item stats knowledge, counters, team fighting, kiting, champion abilities etc
At the end of the video when Jinx was taking T2, i think thrash fucked up by taking half gold from it. He didn't need to hit that tower. He could just wait with lantern.
I'm not a top laner, but since you asked about Raven content, I can recommend you the #1 RIVEN Korea. I watched a few of his videos, and he is insane. This is his twitch channel: www.twitch.tv/azhy788/videos I don't know if you know Midbeast or not, but he also reviewed his game (#1 RIVEN Korea) against TF Blade on the Korean server. at 5:29, can someone explain why wait for the next wave to arrive before pushing? my understanding is when Syndra tp mid you should hard push and get the plates not?
Yep as said in the video, Gumayusi helped with drake while Syndra has to catch the wave and clear it under tower. Enemy won't try to contest it since their bot lane is gonna be late to the fight.
Good morning, a stray support main here looking to understand a teammates role in the game. Hope you all find a keria in your future matches to aid your guma plays and macro calls
I assume u play adc, to be honest there is whole lot to learn not just 1 specific won't get u anywhere just watch more pro player full games or guides instead of playing cause when u play u doing the same thing over and over which is not learning
i think the best advice i could give you is keeping it simple, as guma said in this video, there will be 2 situations: you have the priority, or you don´t. if you have the priority follow a simple plan: do you want to not let them cs? try to freeze. do you want to dive them? crash the wave when your teammates are near to start the dive. want them to get ganked? crash the wave and let them come, as guma did. However, if you don´t have prio in lane due to the matchup being bad or if they took advantage in the game, the plan is easier to focus on (but not easier to pull off): just survive the laning phase. try to not die and try to not loose cs.
If you are too focused on last hitting minions, you'd tend to lose sight of trading and/or wave management. You need to be able to CS minions unconsciously so you're mind can keep track of what's happening around you. 1 tip I can give you is by playing custom games and farming CS til 10 minute mark, you can set goals such as 90+ cs @ 10 minutes, you can also increase difficulty by adding a Bot Opponent to add distraction. If you play enough games and you can consistently hit 90+ CS @ 10 minutes even with Bots, you will develop unconscious reaction to CSing and you'll be able to focus on other aspects better. Once you're consistent with your CSing, you can now start mastering techniques in wave management such as shown in the video. There are many guides to wave management so it all depends on your willingness to learn. Remember that the key to improvement is practice and repetition. Just like in Basketball, players dont get good at shooting just by playing 5v5s every single time, they hit the gym and shoot 1000+ shots and do it over and over again.
What key is he preseing to show range? It doesn't look like chat is expanding or his advanced stats are popping up, so it's neither of those keys. I wasn't aware there was another key that did this.
well then you are fucked xdd you either let slow push to them what is terible or even worse you would push 1 wave dont crush and they freeze you . Depend on your elo if you are under diamond you can push 1 wave and get more gold to spend ( probably enemy would not freeze ) but if you are diamond then the best you can do is let the wave slow push to them and get asap back in lane to crush it but as i said both are pretty bad so you should try never get in that situation.
It is better to crash two waves than 1 wave because it takes longer to clear basically. Let’s say Guma does push the wave and not wait- He crashes a wave then he has to clear the second wave under the enemy tower, which is a VERY BAD position to be in as an ADC. Also, the wave would clear faster because you crashed only one wave, it’ll give time for Syndra to clear it out faster and be there for a potential dragon fight.
10:00 ish, if i was playing adc, galio would of have went straight for me regardless 😕 and my team would do everything in their power to not protect me
If push the wave, Guma cannot take drake and reset timing will be messed up as you need to push 1 more. And there is only so much plates you can get with 1 wave. If drake is not taken, they can not contest Herald
what i thought for the longest time, galeforce sucks ass and kraken is much better in games where u need to 1v9. Was wondering why pro players were not paying more attention to this im glad Guma said that

"didnt do anything exceptional" perfect kiting, doesnt miss a single cs, every input is flawless

@@sick3795 ? His support wasn't focused, imagine if that was Keria Thresh easy flay
The only time I can have flawless kiting and flawless CS is when I play sivir, I seem to not be so good with other ADCs 😂
The craziest part is he manages to do all that while maintaining close to 10 cs per minute
Yes Gumayusi doesn't miss a single wave if his wave management + back timing is correct
He gets 10 cs per minute BECAUSE of what he's doing here.
he got more than 10cs/minute. the first minute and 45s there are no waves
What I learned from this: Its okay to steal your junglers 2nd blue buff as adc
Dont even main adc, but seeing how influential adc players like Guma really inspire me to play more efficent, but aswell make me want to play adc. Crashing a large minion wave is better than crashing a single minion wave
Crashing a large minion wave gives you more time to do recall or roaming without losing much cs when you go back to the wave
