As a beginner, I really appreciate the insight you provided in this video. It really helps to see how you work through the design process. Thanks!

Thank you. I was hoping the videos for this panel would do that.

Great video Jack! Thanks for sharing. I like the idea of sketching it out. I should get in the habit of doing that more often. I have a bad habit of just "winging it" on the fly. Keep up the great work and we'll be waiting for part 3. Have fun and try to stay warm. 😎👍

I almost always wing it. But, when I am trying to discover new things, and not in a time crunch, it is nice to work it out in pencil. Makes you think different.

Crossing at a 90 is a pretty common script lettering/flourishing trick in the calligraphy world as well. So that's where my brain goes when I try and stripe too.

It really makes a difference in striping design. Thanks for watching, and for commenting.

Hey man, love the videos, started trying to pinstripe myself. Learning everything I can through yourself and villa. Whst are you pulling lines in in this video? I am practicing on glass but always looking for something different to practice on, thanks in advance and thanks for the videos they really help. I find I have a lot of trouble coming up with designs.

My personal opinion is that glass is great to practice on, because it is slightly more challenging and so darn easy to clean. The panel in this video is aluminum faced sign panel. Works good if you are making a finished wall hanger. Can be bought through a sign supply company. I have other videos showing how to cut it.
