You completely for got the brake system check from inside the bus. the pump down the static brake check.

Starting August 28 2023 the test will be changed. The governor waived the under the hood requirement so on the pre trip they will no longer require you to open the hood and inspect it. This is for school bus drivers only. They said it is due to the school bus driver shortage they want to help make it easier and interest new people to go drive school buses.
