I miss the castle and village tutorial. Came played it when I was 5/6, almost 10 years ago. Mojang needs to add classic edition with the old xbox360/ps3 edition and have the original tutorial and music.
@Osten March I know, but I cant move it to playstation because it is encrypted.
Xbox one to Playstation and Playstation to Xbox transfer doesn't exist. It is possible to move worlds from anywhere to anywhere but to and from Playstation.

I still have my PS3. And the disk. The game has less functions, But it was a good tutorial. I also remember the trials of different versions. All of the crossovers. I also remember that my dad bought the cute pack fr me and my little brother, i guess we really liked how it looked. I still have it up to this day.
@@awesomephoenixmicah2675 I have the 360 and digital. Minecraft runs like ass on tu1 because stuff was taken from it in updates, but it is still stable. Ps4 does the same but at tu14.

Now imagine it: It’s Christmas break, the sun is setting over the snowy driveway, you are in your room,basement,living room or wherever you played Minecraft. You are building a small house, mining diamonds, fighting mobs, or whatever you were doing. And this music was playing in the background, the very emotions you feel were nothing compared to back then, when the world was so much simpler and less scary. When you could just hop on this game, play for hours, just have fun. We will never have this feeling again. Make sure this game does not die out 🤝

My Grandfather died recently . I am 12 years old . My parents didnt let me attend his funeral because it would be traumatizing . so me and a couple of my relatives attended his funeral in minecraft . We built him statues. Pixel Art of his pictures and a church with a coffin and a tomb. This music fit in perfectly . It was so sad even though it was in minecraft . Because deep down we knew he was gone forever .. Thank you

the word even comes close to that is nostalgia. it gives that bittersweet feeling of memories long lost, but not forgotten, front stage in your mind. what i would give to be able to go back 10 years on a rainy day during summer break to play minecraft all day and not worry, especially if i was playing with friends. all i can do now is play with friends when we have the time to and just... play.

It’s crazy to sit after all these years… listening to basically my entire childhood. Listening to this makes me tear up instantly, all of the people we met online, all of the hours we put into building, laughing, playing with eachother. I always randomly get the urge to check back into my childhood. This game means so much to me, I pretty much grew up with it. The soundtrack itself brings back so many memories and moments. I will be back again soon
I used to play console edition with my uncle all the time, we had a giant world with countless structures and points of interest. The last thing we built together was a giant cobblestone monument on the side of a mountain with a giant cobblestone cross on top of it.
He died in late 2021.
I will always attribute this music to happy memories. Thank you C418.

I didn’t realize how much I would miss them now that I have to focus on school instead of being able to hop on Minecraft with my friends.
This gives a warm feeling in my chest, I remember when I was on my Xbox 360 playing minecraft and played with my friends. I miss them since they just mysteriously vanished, to this day I can't remember they're users and miss them alot.

Currently 14, I have a friend who I’ve known for years he’s a year older and we don’t speak much now. However during my prime ps4 days we would spend countless ours building and giggling. A lot of nights I even went round his and played split screen. Unfortunately due to him starting GCSEs and me picking them shortly + other reasons we don’t talk so much however I’ve recently plugged in my ps4 and opened up Minecraft and found the world we abandoned. The memories flushed in as dogs barked and unfinished houses loaded in. I miss him, my childhood and how happy I was

There will be a day when everyone has stopped playing Minecraft. When all that’s left is memories of mining, building, and crafting. Some have already stopped and others can’t play forever. The time will come and when it does... it will be recognized by the elderly who played when they were young. Some might even forget about Minecraft totally. Others will possess only fond memories. Minecraft won’t last forever but we can enjoy it while we have it.

All these years and i still tear up, all these 7 years i have played this game, the worlds, the servers, my first friend, still remember her, met her on The Hive, she was a good friend, now a lot of my old minecraft friends have moved on, i guess being 13 you realize how cruel, sad, corrupt this world has become, i just lost a close relative of mine, this music makes me think of her, a lot, i really miss the old days, but minecraft has moved on so much and i like/hate it. My message to the future generation; please dont let this game die let it last as long as time goes!. Thank you minecraft for the wonderful memories you have gave me

Don't think about what's wrong, think of the solution, be grateful, and if that doesn't work, think about something else. I hope you get out of whatever rut you're in, and as a 15 year old myself, just focus on being happy. Everything seems to work out when you are.
minecraft was so important to me as a kid. i remember getting it from my mom’s best friend on our Xbox360 when we first moved and I lost all my friends. I was really lost and didn’t know what to do so i would get cozy with my brothers and sisters and we would play minecraft for hours on end. we went through so much on a block game and there are countless worlds i could describe to someone perfectly. I was only about 8 when I get the game snd when I moved so being almost 17 now I think about how much this game helped me to continue. Every year I would reminisce and play for about a month with friends. I lost friends and gained friends while playing and even my siblings. our relationship isn’t as close anymore but i know when I need them we can sit down and play together. we can also definitely bond over some good Stampy, who never fails to make me smile and shed a tear. Minecraft was so important to me as a person and I think it’s so beautiful that kids can still hold this game so close to them and give it their own meaning and memories. i hope everyone reading this had their good cry to the music playing and scrolling through comments, i love you all ❤️

As being a gamer this hits hard, I can remember playing with my friends before school on my Xbox just so we can play our Minecraft world. This makes me wanna cry, remembering all the times when Minecraft would bring me and my friends together. Weather it’s starting a new world because you died and lost all your loot, or just plainly cheating and going into creative mode and having fun. Hearing these songs Is like a treasure because you won’t forget it but continue to follow that path that leads you to it. This brings back memories from when playing the tutorial, you know when you would try the Minecraft trial because you didn’t have the actual game. This was true legendary days, this music is the music you’d wanna hear to “no clip” out of reality. Going back to the old days reminds me that not everything was gay or weird. When rainbows weren’t always about LGBTQ+ because there wasn’t no LGBTQ+ recognized as much, or when you called your dad daddy and weren’t being called gay for it. Furries weren’t a thing, remember those times?
Yeah. Try not to pay attention to all these wierd people, even though they currently make up a large portion of the fanbase. It was back before there were more than two options for picking genders online.

Tried to play this playlist as i fell asleep ended balling my eyes out instead.
I just hopped on a smp that my friend had made earlier in December. That’s not really that long ago when you think about it, just 5 months. I remember hearing all about how much fun my friends were having on it and decided to hop on myself.
At the start my friend gave me a full set of iron gear, a stack of pumpkin pies, and as much cobblestone as I wanted and set me to it. I built a tower, an awesome strip mine, animal farms, wheat farms, cactus farms, alchemy farms. I explored the overworld for shipwrecks and sunken temples and the nether for bastions and strongholds to get blaze rods. I even went all the way to the End islands to get myself an elytra.
But while I was doing this, almost all the time I was alone. I often found myself staying up really late into the night, 3-4 in the morning to do something so simple and tedious, like trying to trim down a desert hill for sand, or get a bunch of wood for whatever next big project I was planning.
My friends and I could rarely be on at the same time and when we were, we usually were just doing our own thing. Despite having all these massive builds around spawn… the world couldn’t feel more empty.
It just got me thinking how sad I feel when I log in to an old minecraft world. So many builds left half finished, so much creative potential that will never come to completion. Hours upon hours of time spent planning out how much resources a build will take, going out to gather it and just one day deciding not to play for that day -- there’s other things to do of course -- and then deciding not to play the next day, and the next, and soon enough before you know it… everyone’s forgotten about it. Forgotten about all the running jokes you made while you were playing together, the music you listened to while you played or the youtube video’s running in the background while you grinded for resources or strip mined.
Just flying around this world with my elytra and seeing so much left all alone and empty just creates this feeling in my chest that I can’t really describe. There isn’t really anything like it. Just the fact of knowing that this world may never come back again. That if I decided to play it again i’d much rather just play a new world and start all over. All this work, all this effort just ... gone.
And of course hearing that nostalgic minecraft music playing in the background makes the feeling all the more stronger.
I don’t really know what the point of this post is, I don’t know if anyone else gets this feeling or just me, but I figured that I needed to put my thoughts into words. It’s a feeling without a name that feels so unique to this game, that feeling of leaving minecraft for so long, then hopping back on, and seeing the worlds that you left behind for months or even years.
i tried to explain the feeling to myself and other people (and failed miserably) but you did in the post. I get what you mean, i had it too.
that last part, “I don’t really know what the point of this post is…” man thats so true. I feel the exact same way. Flying around in half constructed world, knowing my exact thought process when I made that castle, or that house. Its just that feeling, it, just, cannot be named.

I miss old Minecraft especially the when the second song came on,it reminded me of playing for the first time with my uncle (he died a couple years before covid... r.i.p) he showed me the true joy of games for the first time,i would give my life for him to have not died,he had a stroke during the night and no one knew until the next morning...he was dead in his bed..i miss him telling this story makes me cry i miss him and old Minecraft and old games in general
I remember the night I was up really late..I was 6-7 and my dad left...he came back with Minecraft in his hands...I was so happy I was shaking and crying...I wish I could go back. I just wanna go back. I don’t even wanna live anymore. It’s like everything was so great, and then everything just fell apart, the world is broken, we have destroyed it, it’s no longer waking up at night and playing Minecraft, it’s waking up and crying because of everything that’s happened, and what is going to come. This can’t be fixed, only if we could go back and have a little more fun, that would be great..

I miss when I had stuff to look forward to. So young that there was soo many questions and mysteries that I couldn't even know yet. But I didn't have to. I miss playing minecraft on my ps3, watching my favorite genuine minecraft youtubers, building in DLC packs, littlebigplanet, my god I miss it all. I miss my friends I wish I didn't know the answer to mostly everything there's no more magic or down to earthness. When I grow older I hope I give my kids the right stuff to watch and play so they can make the memories we've all had.

I remember playing Minecraft for the first time when I was four years old on my brother's old Xbox 360. Since he didn't really play on it much, he couldn't teach me, so I booted up the tutorial and tried to play. I remember a large castle and a village. I distinctly remember a really cool fire bow. Since, I didn't know how to make I world I literally just played the tutorial for hours on end. On my old iPad I opened a tutorial on how to build a house. Me and my brother built and house and just explored the endless map of Minecraft. I also remember building a large castle. Listening to this song and looking back to my old memories almost brings me to tears, Thank you.
I remember playing Minecraft on my sister’s Xbox 360, my family’s first console. I had so much fun playing with my siblings. No matter what happens, this game will have a special place in my heart.

i’ve never gotten the chance to play the game.
But I grew up watching others play it. I felt like i was right there, front row seats to see my idols play a game.
I remember all those silly builds they made, the roller coasters, the roleplays, the mini games, the mods, the adventure.
I wish I could go back and tell my past self to never stop believing. To be a child. And that things would get better. And to stop being ready to grow up.
I turned 13 this year, and I’ve never been more scared to grow up. All those responsibilities thrown at me.

I remember when I was young, getting Minecraft on my grand parents iPad because they allowed me to, trying to enter random numbers for seeds hoping I would find something rare, making a house that was supposed to be scary and using red stone powder to look like blood, my first tamed wolf, my first world, getting used to the controls on the screen. Back when I was young, not a single care in the world except for having fun… then, a flash before my eyes, getting older, here I am now, 8 years later… remembering a very important part of my childhood. I might not be an adult yet, but I still remember being young, happy, no drama, no bullies, just friends, making friends with every other kid I met and playing Minecraft with my cousin or brother. Just happiness, I wish I could go back, but I can’t.

Nostalgia hits quite different when you're older. Miss those times we got excited to play Minecraft. Even stepping in a new world felt like a whole new feeling. The possibilities.
Decided to play minecraft earlier this week. The music started playing and all of a sudden i'm in tears??? My brain shot back to my floating rainbow wool house full of cats and dogs, and all the memories i've made over the years. All the beautiful things i created with my siblings and friends- all because of this beautiful game. Playing minecraft is when i could let my imagination run free and wild, without a care in the world. I would put my heart and soul into some of my worlds, my brain flowing out into beautiful creations and builds. I will never forget this game, it will forever be a part of my childhood.

This makes me want to go back. To the times where I was scared of herobrine, and the plasticy sheen of the most recent Minecraft ps3 texture pack. Where nothing mattered, we weren't scared of dying or having emotional and physical responsibilities. There was only minecraft, and the wonderful creators who made it so special.

I litter-ally remember Playing on the PS3 and Playing with my friend (There wasnt multiplayer so whenever I wanted to play with him I had to give him my controller after like 20 minutes , we had to take turns)
Listening to this makes you realize something, it’s nostalgic not because it’s childhood, it’s nostalgic because it’s new and influenced you. So when people say this is so nostalgic and was so much better, just realize, you just got used to is.
I remember when I used to play mineplex survival, at first I was alone but someone came along and helped me, through time we became good friends always showing each other cool new things and items. Every day I used to be exited to come home and play with them, but one day I remember, they said they were transferring to Java in a few months, I got bored of the game and quit for awhile forgetting when they were leaving. A year later I came back remembering them… sadly I never got to say goodbye to the person who was there for me and I always had fun with them. It kinda hurts me to this day how I never said my goodbye and never truly got to thank them for all they had done.

The people who never played minecraft or acknowledged it's existence back when it first began for us as children, will probably never feel the same emotions and sense of nostalgia as we do when listening to this music. It's a different kind of nostalgia, one filled with both the hope of one day continuing the projects we left behind, but also the dispair of knowing full well that it will never be the same as it used to be. There's something really personal and special about this game and it's early community that most, if not all online communities don't share. While there are many different playstyles and different aspects to minecraft, those who played in it's early days have the *exact* same recolection of it and we all get the *exact* same feeling of nostalgia. Such a beautiful game

i miss being little. i miss logging on to my xbox 360 and loading i to the tutorial world when my cousins or friends would come over for play dates. i miss claiming houses. i miss claming the hotel and 'renovating' it i to a house. i miss so much about this game. this music unlocks such a special part in my heart where the days were so simple, we would have no worries. i miss making pet dogs, farms, no roof houses because i didn't quite understand the concept of the game yet, i remember watching stampy and me and my brother would sit there on the join friends list, thinking that one day we should just connect to stampys world. i miss the innocence of those days. it was truly beautiful.

Being honest, I use this to fall asleep easier now in 2024. Reminds me of the fond memories this game provided for me and my friends. Minecraft is legendary not because the game itself is crazy optimized or because of the money backing it. It’s legendary because of the experiences it gave all of us- and the memories we made with our friends in our many crazy worlds. Life may be rough, but Minecraft like many things is a gentle reminder that good things come in all shapes sizes and forms. I’ll never stop being grateful for the memories this game and it’s various soundtrack gave me- and it’s nice to see that other people feel the same

This reminds me of an old friend I had back in Elementary school and partly in Middle school. She was a few months older than me, meaning she was a grade ahead so by the time she went to middle school I was still in Elementary, so we couldn't talk as much. I remember she was my introduction to Minecraft back in 2013, I hadn't even heard of the game before but she and her brother would play it every time I came over, and eventually, I decided to give it a try. I bought the old Xbox 360 disc for it and started playing, I instantly loved it. I remember she and I used to play Minecraft almost every single day together. We used to watch the old classic MCYTs like Stampy, PopularMMOs, and DanTDM (Usually Stampy). This went on for years until she went to Middle school and left me behind in Elementary. We didn't talk as much and whenever I tried to talk to her after school she just ignored me. I assumed she was getting annoyed with me constantly asking her what she wanted to do or what was wrong so eventually, I stopped. That was 2 or 3 years ago, and I still haven't talked to her since.
I recently moved away, but I still have her youtube channel that I occasionally check on. She hasn't posted anything and the old videos we made back in 2015 are all deleted, but I still check it anyway. It's been years since I've even been to her house or seen her, but every now and then I get to thinking about her and realize how much time we actually spent together. Wherever she is now, I hope she's happy and that she hasn't completely forgotten about my existence. She should be going into Highschool next year, so if she's somehow reading this, I wish you the best of luck! Try not to forget me!

I used to watch his vids for hours. now his videos are not the same :( its sad to see an optimistic man from britain lose his fans. its sad to see the memories fade away from years and years ago. last week my xbox broke (the one i used to play minecraft for hours on end on), and it made me sad. we managed to recover the old hard drive. those worlds are years of memories to look back at even today. the world of minecraft just isnt the same from years and years ago, when we all played xbox 360 edition of minecraft, and you were scared to go in caves, and there wasnt a "turn off cave sounds" button, and you would play until you got to a point where you couldnt go in caves. minecraft's childhood still exists, in our hearts. we need to still play minecraft again, when we are 20-30.

The maps played, the tutorial worlds remembered, the pvp lobbies, the servers, the texture packs, the old crafting gui, staying up to play in the attic at night, the cringey myths, the horrible building skills, the millions of dogs, playing your first music disc, choosing a skin from the hud, and most importantly, the experiences shared with my brother and sister.
I am 28. I kinda miss the emotions this masterpiece gave me when I was 15 years old. A friend of mine introduced Minecraft to me in 2010. I am still thankful to him for it.
He doesn't remember these times probably as we haven't spoken in like 10 years, but just wanna say "thank you" to him.
These emotions will never be experienced the same way again, and that's sad. Now all my friends are gone and I have no idea how their life is right now.
I suppose this is how everything works in life - you meet people and let them go when the time comes.

i'm actually tearing up hearing the music and remembering when me and my 2 brothers would play on our xbox 360 and play split screen, building our little houses and have the door open, the lights off, the rest of the house empty, and just chilling with them. now they are both in late high school and barely come out of their rooms.. man time flies and i just want another wholesome time with them.
edit - one of my brothers moved off to college in the summer. now its just the 2 of us here and this is his last year here until im the only kid at the house. kinda sucks knowing that the next time i see them they will basically be full on adults

here is a sad story I played on. the PS4 edition of Minecraft not really Minecraft but still very similar to the bedrock edition or console edition there was an update and the update forced me to delete ALL of my worlds the nostalgia in my head from all of the memories I had will stay with me I still remember skin worlds that were free and the tutorial my god it was so nostalgic
