I love when they do this to Kyle where he starts off so totally righteous in his view without any evidence to back it up. But then throughout the episode, there is evidence either real or fake that contradicts it. And slowly he opens up to the thought that he might be wrong, but then when he admits it, he is immediately rebuffed for taking the opposing view seriously. Sort of similar to the Mitch Connor/JenLopez episode.

Similar to the ginger kids episode where he has no actual data to back up arguing against Cartman, and after looking into a bit he even gets info that could be considered supporting Cartmans claims. @@EpicFableBean

As for the 9/11 stuff, it’s true, jet fuel doesn’t burn hot enough to _melt_ steel beams, but it *does* burn hot enough to compromise its structural integrity, meaning the beams could no longer bear the weight they were holding up. Thus they bent and the building fell. There’s a good video on what extreme heat does to structural steel. Man heated it up and was able to bend the bar with his pinky finger.

It's episodes like this that make me wonder if Cartman is supposed to be a schizophrenic. They often end up in these delusional loops of thinking and refuse to accept when people proof them differently. My own grandma is a schizophrenic and she has simplar looped thinking about this one story she made up. This isn't a "oh maybe it happened but she remembered wrong" situation. This woman literally believes that she once was pronounced dead by doctors, that she woke up in the middle of an autopsy and that she saw them holding her brain. I kid you not and she always says "call my brother, he'll tell you". Despite the fact she have indeed called and had him to confirm it was not true, she still says the same thing over and over. My sister almost went crazy trying to convince her once, sat for two hours trying to explain how it was physically impossible for her to be alive if her brain had been taken out. Meanwhile my grandma is sitting their with a smirk on her face, you know the one that Karen's have when they think they're going to get their way. Yeah... She very much acts like Eric in a lot of ways, even steals food we tell her not to touch it, just because she wants it. XD

Steel and concrete are super sturdy. Example modern nuclear powerplants could stand such hit with ease.
But steel has shitty property that it starts losing compressive strenght as it heats up.
When designing structures they must take account this change on natural limits. Burning fuel and the crash in general was way above the designed limits
It’s just floor pancaking, pretty common in construction. Not some elaborate steel melting shenanigans.
