Today we start the day by trying a traditional Nepali breakfast with our friend Kabi from Friendly Trekkers Adventure, before receiving a Nepali blessing and embarking on the 4 day Ghorepani Poon Hill trek into the Himalayas of Nepal! During this first day of the trek, myself, @kayyywild and @lespoirdemavie have so many funny moments, meet some real characters and even find myself a Nepali wife!

cool video Josh, you guys are so funny, especially you hehe those Moos made me hungry as usual, very nice view on the hiking trails, its good that they have nice stops with restaurants in theme, thats a really nice idea you know , like your hiking but theres so many things and people to interact with.. dang here in the bay area. hiking trails are tough you have follow the trail trail lol ... sometimes when i go hiking with my cuzzin it would take us 4 hrs when we get to the final stop where our cars are parked , beers are waiting in the cooler lol ... man miss that .. now nooo hiking for me ..heheh

@@TheJourneyofJosh ...and quite far and much higher than Poon Hill.. 😁.like twice as high to everest summit and sooooo much more expensive. But you can enjoy lots of smaller, easier, cheaper beautiful treks all round the Everest region. And around Annapurna, Mustang is a must........Oh, and the Terai region, Chitwan, Sauraha and in the far west, Bardiya National Park for the best chance of seeing a tiger. The far East region is something very special again, Ilam, Jhapa etc.. Brother you're gong to have to come back multiple times to see more of Nepal at your leisure.🙏 Jai Nepal.

Great video brother. I don't think I've seen a vlogger laugh as much as you😂. I enjoyed re-visiting the Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek with you guys. I did this trek 7 years ago, with two Nepali friends, returning to Pokhara via Ghandruk, one of the most picturesque villages I've seen in Nepal. I'd been visiting Nepal since 1982 but never did more than a two day trek in that time. In March last year (when I was 73) I did the Mardi Himal trek. I'd planned ro do it in 2020 but Covid intervened, then in 2022 had a heart attack and thought my trekking days were over but a year later I was back for my 9th visit and the Mardi Himal trek. It was a little harder than Ghorepani and the steep descent to Siding I found tough but still absolutely amazing. The early morning crystal clear view of Machhapuchhre on the second day just before sunrise actually literally took my breath away.. I'm planning on returning for 3 months in September to catch the good weather and the big festival season. Looking forward to your next installment. Subha Yatra Josh bhai - Happy travels brother.
