BEST First Impressions of Bhaktapur, Nepal! 🇳🇵

- A short drive from Kathmandu Nepal is another city called Bhaktapur. Known for its many masked dances, handicrafts, pottery and food.. Bhaktapur really did feel like a whole different vibe coming from Kathmandu. Myself and @kayyywild were so lucky to be there at the right time to see a local school practising their Gai Jatra mask dance and had a hilarious tour from our guide Krishna. Overall I absolutely loved Bhaktapur and it is probably my favourite Nepali city so far!

Welcome to Bhaktapur, you actually just missed a big festival of Nepal here in Bhaktapur that happened just a week ago. It's called Biska Jatra. Well anyways, Enjoy your time in Nepal.
I respect how enthusiastically the Newari people embrace their customs, culture, and way of life. not forgetting the infamous newari food ofcourse. Bhaktapur, the city stuck in "TIME", offers not only to our visuals but also to our perspective how quickly the world is changing. Thank you for the video Josh!!

I'm impressed with that old pottery man, at his age his skills were absolutely amazing, and their pancake looks delicious, not that typical pancake we use to have, anyways don't stress yourself to much, i know it's hard but don't forget to take care of urself 😊, you're doing great Josh, keep it up 👍🏼

😢sad for many guid and tourist Don't know real stories and legends of Bhaktapur (Khowpa ancient name)each an every step there is mythological stories and historical stories behind it so before you go somewhere search it clearly dear brother ❤

There are always some cringe guide around Durbar square both in Kathmandu and bhaktapur. I wish tourism authority regulates their price rate
They are at pretty much every tourist attraction haha, usually I don't bother with them and just do my own research
The guide is very cringe and also seems very misinformed. There are many who can speak good english as well, better luck for the next person.
The juju dhau is supposed to be sweet, the place is just bad if it is sour.
The tap inside the golden gate is supposed to be for the queen , idk why he kept saying king.
He was expecting it to be sweet like icecream that's why he felt it was sour. Juju dhau is not supposed to be sweet like icecream. It should be thick, sour and sweet compared to all the other spicy food we eat in the feast before that and help to refresh our palate just like how Josh said in the video.
and yeah many authorized guides in every Durbar squares are very cringy and misinformed

This is why I don’t usually get a guide haha, you don’t know how they will be until you hire them. Still had a fun time with him though! Pretty sure the juju dhau place is very popular so maybe my mouth is broken 😂
