Every once in a while there's an episode that really reminds me just how WILDLY talented and dedicated the hermits are. Putting up something THAT enormous and complex in only 6 hours? In survival??? Incredibly impressive.
Hate to burst your bubble... but that is litematica with printer mode On. The built is allready made in creative first. All he needs is the blocks. And then he runs layer by layer and the blocks place itself alone.

Man Hermittopia is honestly becoming one of my favourite builds on Hermitcraft ever. The mix of styles that somehow still fit together to make one massive build with such a large scale. And the fact that it is actually functional and all the farms poking out gives it such an industrial vibe. I love it

absolutely love the style build for the hermitopia tower. reminds me of howl's moving castle so much!
Even on a server with such incredible competition, the finished hermit base has gotta be one of the most inspired builds I've seen in the game! The product of nearly a dozen different collaborating people just kinda winging it, it's impressive in concept and execution
I know that the opening to Grian’s videos are … different, but “Does anybody know why there are so many cats in the bridge?” is by far my favorite.❤😂
I love the contrasting aesthetics of this almost modernistic build of Hermitopia versus the medieval-esque fantasy of Empires.
ESPECIALLY with Hermitopia being right next door to the Ancient City, which was the lost city in Empire that Pix trying to discover more.

This tower is quite possibly some of Grian's best work ! It looks like a building out of a Ghibli movie, you know the kind, one with hundreds of sticky-outy bits and bobs poking out of every corner, looking like a pile of houses and structures built upon one another of all styles and architectures under the sun grafted together, clashing yet flowing into a strange harmony, broken down and then repaired a thousand times, all held up by planks and beams, and that could only hold together by some sort of spell. I can't wait to see more of it on the next episode.

16:19 Holy crap this build is just... insane. All in one timelapse!? The amount of detail and variation for this shell covering the entire structure to nearly build high is phenomenal, pat yourself on the back Grian!
It’s quite funny to me at least, the fact that you are often reminded of how short the hermits are on the server by the noticeably more downward direction the empire members look when talking to a hermit.

i hope that once everything goes back to normal and that the hermits return to their server the rift would stay open. This way they could do crossover charity streams or just fun streams (i think they’d be able to raise a lot for charity streams!)! They really are such a fun bunch to watch!! so many personalities and so iconic interactions between servers

I just wanted to say thank you to you, all the hermits and the empire players. This has been such an enjoyable crossover event. I've found new players to follow and watch. In a world of turmoil you and all of these players bring such wholesome, fun and creative content!!

Aw man I can't believe the plan to leave's already in action; it feels like it's only been a short time on Empires and I definitely think I'll miss the big collab. But I knew it wouldn't last; and I hope everyone enjoyed this and these kind of world hopping collabs are planned again for the future (not immediately, just as possible ideas in even future seasons or smth).

I honestly think that they are all struggling to sustain the crossover. Fwhip has posted just today about the burnout he's experiencing. I love their content, Hermits and Empire folks, alike, and some of their interactions have been really great. I just feel like there was no real planed direction and as a result some of them have felt way out their comfort zone or 'lost' in the group. It must be very difficult to pull two established groups together like that and sustain a story and creator engagement. I hope they all feel happy with what ever ending to the crossover they come up with. They are all good in their own right, and I hope they remember that every time they sit down to 'make' content.
I think its gonna be used alot for one episode crossovers after the main crossover event is done, like when a empire guy needs some redstone help and the local redstoners cant help, call in a hermit from the rift to help.
Well if they can open the Gate and Grumbots can link up, its possible that Hermits and Empire Folk will be able to freely traverse the void and the adventures could continue in a more controlled one on one / small scale manner as opposed to a pile of people being chucked into a pile of people and everyone kind of scrambling to keep up with the craziness and multiple sources of shenanigans and plot points. (while its been a fun cross over...my oh my has it been chaos of narrative).

For Grumbot’s dispenser, you could have a floating industrial-style platform (powered by some kind of hovercraft mechanism) within eye-line of Grumbot. Just thought I might suggest because I think it would look pretty cool!

That tower is probably the most visually appealing build I've ever seen someone make in Minecraft. I don't really know what specifically makes it look so appealing, but I can't stop looking at it. And Grumbot on the side is adorable! If I was better at digital painting, I would like to paint the tower and use it as a background on my phone!
It's probably extra-appealing because it's been made by most of the hermits and therefore has sentimental appeal on top of the mixed aesthetic.

I absolutely LOVE how industrial the Hermitower got. Almost an entire server of hermits building a massive farming obelisk and it fitting together so well is incredible

you could have one of grumbot's arms poke out of the side of the building and reach out in front of it to function as a platform for people to stand on, as well as hiding a dispenser in the hand for communication. I also think it would be really cool if grumbot had more than two arms, they are a robot after all, they don't have to follow human anatomy!

@@Blocker. Mumbo's not back on the server yet. In fact, almost everybody who didn't go through the rift hasn't uploaded any hermitcraft. The only two exceptions are VintageBeef, and BXcrafted.
Meaning: Iskall, StressMonster, Etho, Mumbo, Zedaph, WelsKnight and Hypno are all unaccounted for.
In the case of Etho, and Stress, it's because of RL things. In the case of Wels, it's because he wanted a break this season altogether
