Laura Elzey yea, it's actually not bad like in the video. I never adjusted the settings on my camera and the lighting was also bad, so it picked up the color darker than it is and changed the tone a bit.

cleopatra Elgindy It actually did not!:) I was scared it would, but I have no breakage and only minimal fall out. just try to avoid using heat on your hair for a while before you get it done :) if you want I can send you a picture of how my hair looks? the video changed the color and made it look somewhat redish and I keep getting hate for it, but its actually lighter in person.
I honestly dont remember as it's been around 2-3 years, but mine was lighter in real life than what it shows in the video. Just use purple shampoo, put it on your dry hair for 30 min before showering and it helps take the brashness out.

Strxssful_Plvnt OMG girl I feel you!! growing up I was not allowed to cut or dye my hair. when I turned nineteen I used box dye on hair ....it didn't do much, but then at 20 I put blue dye and it showed a little, but my hair still looked black... now that I'm 22 I decided it was time for a change because my hair was black and boring. Like I looked so plain and I hated how I looked, but changing my hair color was the best thing ever! my confidence grew so much!:)

Alicia Chan yes, you have to get it bleached, since you want it light brown it should damage your hair that much. just try to avoid heat damage for a few month before getting it done 😁 I just showed him a picture of a balayage color that I liked. I asked for balayage, but he told me that ombre with balayage would be more noticeable since my hair is so dark. it cost me $120, but he's a family friend so other places might vary in price. I have A LOT of hair, so it took like 6 hours, I forgot already but it took a long time. he used 20 volume developer so it was slow.

Also you can lighten your hair through a few processes instead of one. like maybe every 3 months go in and get it lighter that way your hair won't take all the damage at once 😁
