- Red Kite's Adrian and Joe review the Trek Procaliber 9.6 - a full carbon hardtail cross country bike - and talk through its features and ride feel.
The Procaliber range starts at £1,925 for the 9.5 model to £3,775 for the 9.8
You’ve made my mind up! Cheers 🤘🏼👊🏼
Wow! That's bright, you won't miss anyone riding that bike! I prefer the crystal white or Navy/Alpine blue fade colour way on the 9.7 model or the beautiful red on the 9.8 model better. I guess it's all personal preference 🙂. Great review on the Trek Procaliber.
works great very happy with it
Absolutely sickkkkk
I just got a 9.5 and love it. Wish it had the remote lockout but other than that it’s fab. Lithium grey and black
yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, legend bike brah... heheheh i know
I have 2021 model black/Red!!! It"s a fantastic MTB...I love it
Me too , great bike !
Me too ! Good choice !
I’ve just bought this exact one(9.6 volt/raw) and upgrades you would do or any advice?
thanks, i have a 2022 trek marlin 5 and i wanted to upgrade to a 9.5
That would be a sweet upgrade - go for it!
Hello I want to ask you what bike would you pick....the trek x caliber 7 ( 650 euros ) or the specialized carve pro ( 800 euros )?
Should this model always have the xt brakes ??????
Very like.
price how much?
Have you upgraded the brakes to XT on that bike ?
they standard version when you buy this bike
Yes, it's upgraded. At least in north and south america it comes with Deore M4100 brakes
yeah im not aware that any procaliber comes with 4 piston brakes. i guess they had stock problems like other manufacturers and had to change some of the spec
The warranty on the frame is only for manufacturer’s defects. If you crash your bike and it breaks it will not be covered.
I don't think any manufacturers anywhere offer crash insurance!
@@redkitecycles6828 I’m sure you are correct, but saying life time warranty is very vague and people assume it’s covered. They do that fake piece of mind on purpose. At the end of the day who am I to tell them it was manufacturing defect vs a bad hit. They probably screw over thousands of people saying that it wasn’t a manufacturing defect.
@@perfectzero84 we decide warranty in the shop. Nobody gets screwed over. Warrany and insurance are clearly different things.
@@redkitecycles6828 In theory carbon is supposed to be strong, so how exactly do you determine if it’s broken due to defect?

SORRY I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS PRICES .... SO EXPENSIVE CRAZY PRICES
Nice looking bike but poor quality control or poor transport.Rear wheel has major issues right out of the box. czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Rear axle is bent! Derailleur is misaligned.Since the rear wheel comes assembled I would have expected better.Assembly instructions poorly written, but that was not unexpected...just annoying.I just had the bike checked at a shop and was told that I should contact the seller about getting a whole rear wheel assembly with cartridge. (The bike shop could not do anything to help me).Not a good experience with this bike, so lesson learned.Added 3 stars for excellent customer serviceUpdate Sept 8 2020Just received a complete replacement wheel for free. Great service and an otherwise fine bike.
