How do you like the ride with the Kovee pro’s?? Been REALLY debating on going with carbon wheel upgrade. Either the Kovee pros or elite. Just see. Mixed reviews regarding carbon wheels and hard tails. There are many that say carbon wheels will give a hard tail a much hard/harsher ride due to the carbon stiffness…
@@jonzylka9474 I run Gen 1 Kovee Pros in my Supercaliber 9.9 and Gen 2 on the Procal, no issues with the wheels ever! Solid upgrade IMO! I’m 150 and rip XC. I’m not easy on wheels, blew up a few wheel bearings and A sram driver blew up on me! Also cracked a Bontrager Whampa rear wheel on my Farley 9.9! 🤙🏻
Is that a 2022 model or 2023?
I upgraded my Procaliber 9.6 to 9.7 spec out of the box trading in my old Salsa Woodsmoke. It had a bunch of parts on it the previous owner installed like dropper, carbon bar, carbon wheels and bar ends so I just switched them all out with the stock bike and got slight refunds on all the stock parts they didn't assemble from brand new. I also had an XT shifter as Trek decided to save a few dollars by installing an SLX shifter on an XT drivetrain. It's a pisser. Very fast, responsive handling, great for the fire roads and power line trails I like to ride. I also put on the team GR4's for better grip as I don't like the GR2's they don't grip very well.
