Yes sir that is a good fitment for those pieces and of course the idea is to cover the holes in the flooring to keep road noise and fumes out, not look pretty but functional. And as a friend of mine used to tell me "You can't see it from my house". I will agree with you that there are some very talented people in this fabricating business and like all trades it takes quite some time to become a master. For the rest of us it is just learning and doing, and maybe we will become a master at our craft/hobby/trade.
My shop is only 30' x 32'. I like you surrounds . Building my 32 pickup and finishing the repairs on 1942 Century 17' Sea Maid the shop gets a little tight. Keep up the great work!

Another great video ! I think the vinyl cover is a great idea. The trans cover in my opinion is such a cool shape and should set the interior off perfectly . The kid looks like a chip off the old block. It would be nice if you can make great memories like you and your father. Also that 30's something truck is absolutely beautiful!

The plates look great, better job than I would have ever done. As for a covering, I would just do something durable as your feet will inevitably wear it down.

@LGKustoms In the old days in Australia all wheels had to be completely protected from pedestrians, not sure of the regs now. I prefer fenders

That’s from the original flathead that was in my roadster. It had multiple connecting rods come through it one sunny afternoon.
