Hi Barbara - you never cease to amaze all of us. I just want to send out a BIG THANK YOU for all your inspiration that you send out to all of us, especially in these crazy and difficult times. All of you committed You Tubers and bloggers are providing a much needed break from all the news.
This is just so much FUN!!!! Will be trying one of these in the next day or so. Just finishing up another project so don't want to start another just yet. Can't wait. I too just put in an order for a couple of different adhesives and supplies as so many things are shutting down here in the states now. I too feel so blessed to have this as an outlet. It keeps me sane and happy. Stay safe and well. :D
Aaaw, thank you so much Erika! Crafting is the perfect outlet and distraction from all the horrible news! Stay safe! ❤️
I am so amazed Barbara, as you added each envelope and tuck spot. So much with just two envelopes to start. I have those Tim Holtz flowers so you have given me more ideas. I am saving this video to watch again for ideas. We are also on Stay At Home but I just hope everyone does it. I have been going through my craft room and have a journal started. TFS! ❤️
Thank you Pam! I’m so happy to provide some inspiration for your own projects. Stay safe! ❤️
49dragonflies thanks and you stay safe as well!!
This looks more and more to something that Nick the Booksmith would have made. Love the antique vibe of this project and how all the elements tight together like they wore ment to be there from always.
Thank you Elena! I take that as a huge compliment. I adore Nik’s work! ❤️
I loved all the different images you used in this folder thing. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you Deidra! ❤️
This is the neverending flip book! Love it!
😃 thank you Suzanne! ❤️
One of my faves
You’re so right!! We are so blessed that we love an art like ours! My poor husband is a golfer.... the poor guy is climbing the walls...🥴😩
Oh dear, poor hubby! He needs a new indoor hobby! Stay safe! ❤️
Ha ha!! That’s why I’m glad we have a dog!! He can go for walks. And we play a lot of games with the kids!! It’s actually been good. Be well and be safe!!😁😁😁
I so needed this tonight. I posted an instagram of my collage swap a few minutes ago, but have spent today not being online for my sanity. Except for us journalers!
Thank you Karma! I will go check out your collage on IG, I hope you had fun with that! ❤️
Love love love. Definitely my next project!!
I love the way everything falls in together thank you for sharing your proses enjoyed every little step
Thank you dear Alejandrina! Stay safe! ❤️
This is coming together so nicely. I was finally able to get the flower dies thanks to you link. Thank you and stay well.
Thanks again Joanne! I’m happy you got the dies 😃
I made the envelope journal from part 1 and absolutely love it!! Thank you for showing us so many wonderful techniques.
That’s awesome Donna! So happy you tried this! 😃❤️
Wow wow wow 🤩 you really outdid yourself with this one and there is more to come🎉 🥰 I will see this video again later today and craft along a bit, and do only half of the embellishments you did probably🥴 I can see why you said this was addictive. This is turning out stunning🥰😍😍
Have a good day sweetie and stay safe 🕯💝😘😘
Thanks sweetie! So happy you enjoyed this and looking forward to having you craft along with me later today! Sending hugs! ❤️
Wow!! Love all the pockets and flips xx💗😁
You always inspire and give me great ideas!
What a lovely project for us to participate in! I'm having fun trying to make the envelopes that I have on hand "work" ! The glue stick I like at the moment is "Craft Bond extra strength" by Elmers. (NOT the one they make for school use.) Happiness and health to you, too! Hugs!
Thank you Peggy! So happy you are creating along with me! Stay safe! ❤️
Hi B - I am half time in Amsterdam (other half in md east where I am now in lockdown). I bought Hema glue sticks and then went looking for "better ones" SO I am so happy to hear that this is your best glue stick...!!! And it's a great price. Hema is the true convenient shop. Love the channel and this project. Jackie
Thank you Jackie! I’m always disappointed when I try other glue sticks, even the brand ones. Stay safe! ❤️
Hi Barbara you mentioned not using the plant/flowers thinlit dies because they are difficult to use and stick down. If you can use a one sided sticker sheet ( large label sticker sheet) - you could cut them in the big shot machine into stickers that are much easier to use.
Anita Puntillo or if they don’t have sticker paper, double sided tape on the back side of the section of paper you want to cut the die from. 😊
Thank you for that wonderful tip, Anita! I need to find some sticker paper!!! Brilliant! 👍🏻
Found you a couple weeks ago. Now I’ve been binge watching all your videos! I absolutely love everything you do!!! 🌸
Aaaaw, thank you Debi! So happy you are enjoying my videos! ❤️
A year later and we, the Netherlands, are again still in lockdown. Who would have thought that a year ago.
Still love this video!
Thanks Petra! Same here in Austria!
We are Lucky we have a nice hobby😀
Barbara, this is so creative! I always draw inspiration from your collage abilities!
Thank you so much Robin! Stay safe! ❤️
@@49dragonflies Thank you, Barbara. You do the same. We are in two weeks in to our shelter in place. A little stir crazy but not too bad!
Oh that was so much fun.... I really need to do something like this, all those flaps and flips.... Fab job my lovely 💕💕💕🌹🌷😁😁
Thank you sweetie! I hope you give it a try! Stay safe my friend! ❤️
Hi Barbara das sieht toll aus 😍 ❤ grüße 😚💚❤
Amazing!💕
Beautiful!
Beautiful 💖
I love love love this! You just blow me away w your creativity!👍🏻❣️
Aaaw, thank you Ruthie! ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful.... this is great ....
Thank you for sharing such a fun project 😍
My pleasure Annette! ❤️😃
Fabulous!!!
This is wonderful, so many inspiring ideas. You have great supplies. Your work looks so professional and neat.
Aw, thank you Mirella! I have been building up and tweaking my supplies for years. It was quite a journey getting here and I’m loving every minute of it 😃
I could watch you decorate these forever. It's absolutely beautiful. ❤❤❤
Aw, Thanks Kelly! You should try one! 😃
Wow so much great ideas! Thank you for the inspiration!! Take good care 💐
Thank you Tina and stay safe! ❤️
I really enjoyed your envelope junk journal. Well done. And I truly appreciate all the links and supply information that you added. I even signed up for the The Digital Collage Club.
It’s my pleasure! 😃❤️
Oh My Goodness!!! I enjoyed watching this so much and the amazing little interactive elements just "kept coming" Thank you so much Barbara. You are definitely the queen of inspiration xx
Aaaaaw, thank you so much Yvon! ☺️❤️
I live in the states and unfortunately not all states are in lockdown. Fortunately, the state I live in has issued a lockdown today but I work in food service so I still have to go to work, I wish they would close us down because people are being mean to the workers but we do what we can, ya know. But thank you for doing what you do, it’s a great distraction.
Dear Stephanie please stay safe! I just don’t get some people! why is it necessary to be mean in times like these! People should be helping each other out. Hang in there and stay healthy! ❤️❤️❤️
49dragonflies I’m trying my best, washing my hands like crazy! I don’t understand it either, but I look at like they are scared and don’t know how to handle the stress or at least that’s how I rationalize the behavior. But, thank you Barbara, you are so sweet to comment and show that you care! You be safe too, my dear!
Amazing project! I can't wait to see the signature inside your folio.
It’s very cute 👏😀 thanks for sharing
I also bought 8 glue sticks before the lockdown. I would have bought some on amazon. I have heard that the scotch glue stick is very good but I was in Lidl to buy some grocery and they had a other kind of uhu glue I hadn’t seen before and bought 1. They was SO amazing and I tried it on both paper and fabric. I often use small bits on fabric on tags etc so I want a glue I can use on all my stuff so I don’t have to have 3 different kind of glue for making 1 tags 🤣😬 so I went back and bought every glue they had. I most see if I can find the glue online.
We have also lockdown to after Easter and it’s hard for the kids, especially the teenager. But it’s for the best.
Hope you and family stay well 🙏❤️
Blessings from Denmark 🇩🇰
Tina 🦋
Thank you Tina! Maybe you could write me the name of that glue, sounds interesting! 😊 stay safe! ❤️
This the best! Love ❤️
Barbara, this was brilliant. And it is my favourite look! Thank you for sharing.
Good morning Barbara, you make everything look so easy😌. Just live all the pockets and tuck spots.
Ps I just saw the 'Barbara ' book on your IG page. I guess I'm too late😂. Stay safe❣
Thank you Margarette! I will reply to your email later today! ❤️🥰
Hi Barbara I'm Barbara too. I love your flip book. I enjoy watching you add everything. I have a problem with that. I'm new to junk journaling. I'm still learning . Tyfs! See you next time! Stay safe!
Thank you Barbara! I can promise you it’s a fun journey! 😃
I want to make this...adorable😍
Thanks Linet! Yes, pls craft along with me! ❤️
Absolutely love ❤️ this series!!!
So pretty and such brilliant ideas for embellishing!
I like to use a Zyron for adding adhesive on things like that. The Tom Holtz die cuts
I don’t have one of those 🤪
You are a treasure for us. I'm in love with this project.
Distress oxide makes everything more beautiful but it's too expensive here. I'm not sure if i should buy it.
Is it a total locked down there? Here, they just say we should stay at home. Only, older than 65 yrs old can't go outside.
Staying in doesn't bother me cause i'm used to it. I'm studying all the time. My husband is an ER doctor. So he will possibly be infected and so i will. Hope we'll be fine.
Thanks for the inspiration. Have a healthy day with your husband 😇
Aw, thank you! ☺️. I would say distress oxide is worth saving for! I couldn’t live without it! 😃. Here they also say old people should stay home and the others can go out for groceries and if you have to work, that’s it. I also don’t mind staying in. I really hope your hubby and you will be ok!!!! Sending a big hug, Barbara ❤️❤️❤️
I love all your envelopes, tuck spots, belly bands, etc! I’ve already made a few for my folio, but now I’m inspired to do more!! Thank you for this fun project to keep me busy during the quarantine.
Thank you sweetie! I’m so happy you are inspired to create more! Stay safe! ❤️
😘
I love your modeling paste idea!!!! Thank you!
So beautiful! I love watching your videos, thank you for sharing!
Barbara, another great series. Watched Part 1 for enjoyment. Now, after watching this one (Part 2), have to make one of my own. I so so so, enjoy your process videos. TFS! Happy Crafting Michelle
Thank you Michelle! I’m so happy you will be trying this! Enjoy! ❤️
Hi Barbara, I have seen, that EVA from BohemianCrafting put before cutting the die, double sided glueband (is this the right Name in English??) on the back side of the paper. She use the 5 cm band, so ist is easy. This make the gluing of the flowers & co. much more easy. Thank you for your Video! Elena
Thank you Elena! Yes, I have seen Eva use the wide double sided tape 😊. Some other viewers were suggesting label paper in big sheets, I might give that a try because it seems like it would be easier to handle somehow 😊.
Hi Barbara, just enjoy watching your channel. I love love love this journal 👩🎨😗👍
Thanks so much Laura! Part 3 is up in a few hours 😃
@@49dragonflies 😍
You have great ideas! I love how you list everything you use and where you got it from in the description box. Great for us who are just learning. Thank you.
Thank you! I’m happy the links are useful!
Wonderful as usual. Love it
You are full if so many great ideas 🥰💕💕🙏 amazing woman 😘😄👍🌞💕💕
Aaaw, thank you dear Pernilla! ❤️
Thank you so much for all these great ideas with this wonderful journal!! I am so excited to start it as my next project while we are home bound!
It’s my pleasure Katie! Enjoy this project, it will take your mind off the news for a while! Stay safe! ❤️
So beautiful
Love love your work , i agree with the Tim Holtz flowers they are fragile , but if you use 300 gsm to cut out the flowers it a lot stronger .......
Thanks for the tip! 😃👍🏻
I LOVE it...........👏👏👏👏☘
Wow! This is absolutely amazing, I didn’t realise you could have so much going on with a couple of envelopes! 😊xx
Haha thank you! I hope you give it a try! 😃❤️
Barbara, this is absolutely gorgeous, I am definitely going to try this. Thank you for sharing your creativity. X
Thanks Elizabeth! Enjoy creating one of these! 😃❤️
This is so interesting, it's a wonderful distraction from all that's going on in the world right now, thank you!! I also wanted to add that I am really enjoying the change in music you have added to your videos lately :) I never liked the music you had before, this new music is much more soothing to listen to as I watch the videos, so thank you for that!! Stay safe!
Thank you Robin! I’m happy you are enjoying the calm music now. I’m learning as I’m moving ahead with my videos 😊. I’m always happy to receive feedback! Stay safe! ❤️
Love it!
congratulations, it's exceptional, I like it so much that I started making one almost exactly the same as yours, I've been working on it for two days, but I'm slow and I do things very calmly. Thanks for sharing with us ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you are having fun with this project! ❤️😃
@@49dragonflies yes, it’s so cool 😍♥️
You are such a Pro, Barbara! What a beautiful creation. /Ditte in Sweden
Aaaw, thank you dear Ditte! ❤️🥰
Amazing!!! ❤️ You did again a fantastic job, Barbara!!! It is so intriguing and inspiring! Love it! 😍
Hugs xxx 🤗
Thank you sweet Maria!!! Can’t wait to see another video from you as well! ❤️
I love this!! ❤️❤️
This is so cute 🥰
That looks amazing girl thx 👍
I love this, Barbara! I’m kind of following along although my papers and ephemera aren’t as vintage looking as yours. I’ve watched so many of your videos and it’s fun seeing your style evolve and change. I love your ideas! Thanks for sharing! Hugs.
Thank you Robin! I’m happy you are creating along with me! 👍🏻😃. Stay safe! ❤️
49dragonflies Yes. I’ve been home for 10 days and don’t mind. My husband is a home care nurse so that makes me nervous (and paranoid). He keeps reassuring me he is careful. Most of his patients aren’t ‘sick’ but rather he does dressing changes, catheters and IV infusions. Of coarse, going to another’s house can still be risky. You mentioned in another post that your husband travelled to Egypt. My best safety wishes for him too. Our life’s will be different once this is behind us. I hope it makes us all better people in some way.
Robin Sabo dear Robin, I hope your hubby will stay safe and healthy as well as yourself! Thank you so much for your kind wishes! We do what we have to, right? ❤️❤️
SOOOOO COOL ❤️❤️❤️
You are so clever! I keep wondering how many more places you'll find to put things!
Haha me too! 😃
WOW💕😀
I love the glue stick from EDEKA here in Germany to Pritt and Uhu. Maybe you have Edeka in Austria, too.
I have never seen those here, but thanks!
Wow, this journal is really becoming gorgeous!! You keep amazing me with the amount of pockets and tug spots haha, beautiful. The cheesecloth from Ali is it stretchy? Because I have 3 kinds until now from other shops and I don't like them, they are too stiff, like normal fabric, I can't tear them. Thanks for the great video and stay healthy, I hope your husband and his family are safe in Egypt.
Thank you so much Yvonne! I appreciate your kind wishes! I also have come across different kind of cheese cloth and the one so have linked under this video is the one that tears well, I really like this one. Stay safe as well! ❤️
@@49dragonflies Oke, thanks, is it stretchy too?
Not too much I’m afraid, but it frays nicely when you tear it.
Beautiful. You have room for a signature? ; ) Can't wait to see.
Haha yes! 😃
Does anyone have a source for the lovely metal tearing ruler that we all love so much?
I recently met 2 new friends, and when they saw my junk journal, with the areas I had torn with this ruler! Thanks, everyone!
You are so inspiring Barbara! Plus it is so much fun to watch your videos! TFS Hugs 💕
Aw, thank you Michele! ❤️
Very nice I love it. How are you and your husband doing. We are good. Be safe. Carmen
Thanks Carmen! Happy to hear you are doing well. I’m good, hubby flew to Egypt last week to help his family there so I’m worried about him. Hopefully he will come home healthy eventually! 😘
I will keep you and your hubby and his family in my prayers. Thanks for your continued videos. Love you.
Hi Barbara 😊👋 I hope you're healthy and happy. When you use texture paste do you use your heat gun to dry it?
Thank you Jodi, all good here 😊. No, I let it air dry, which is really hard!! 😂
@@49dragonflies 🤣 I know you usually don't have patience to wait for things to dry! Lol
Jodi Packard Everlith you know me well! 😂
Hi there!! All the way from South Africa!! Love this little book!! Thanks for sharing. Do you think Digital Collage Club changed some names of their kits recently? My 100 vintage ephemera kit looks different, and there are only one. 🤷♀️
Thank you Adele! I don’t think the kit has changed, that would be strange 🤔. But this way you can download it again and have more ephemera 😃.
49dragonflies also true!! 😅. I will search for it again. ❤️🎈
If you make a mistake with the texture paste you can scrape it off and try again! Just an FYI from experience, lol
Hi, went and joined the DCC for just £40 and I get 12months access to everything, so thank you for this. I have one question though, I cannot seem to download the zip files on my iPad, am I doing something wrong?
It’s really a great site! I don’t download on my iPad, sorry. I would write to Tina, I’m sure you can contact her through the website.
What is the swirly die
It’s the one I used as decoration on the left inside and the offcut on the right inner side as a tuck spot. But I can’t find the link on Ali anymore 🙁
Is there a part 3???
Yes! On Friday.
Hi Barbara - did you get mail? That ballet dancer is fantastic, her smile is awesome! Have you tried Seth Apter embossing powders? He does one that looks like rusted iron once you heat it and another that looks like sand. This is the UK link ameliascreativecrafts.co.uk/0af7b240-abb9-11e8-eddc-e779e4f11af7 or google for US link. I'm going to get some this month, they look like loads of fun. Might work a bit better with the stencils than the texture paste 😉 Hope you're well
Hi Sam! I will write you a message on IG about mail 😊. Thanks for the tip about the embossing powders. I will put it on my wish list. Don’t want to buy new things at the moment 😊. Stay safe! ❤️
