A few things to make this perfect
-blind spot detection
-rear cross traffic alert
- a f**g volume nob
-heated steering wheel
-and while I am at it, memory seats
And a cd player.
Amen, a real blind spot detection (left and right sides) would be nice. Rear alert should be mandatory on all cars. And a gawdam volume knob. I will say the new CRV, Accord and revised Fit all now have volume knobs, so when the Civic gets a mid life revision I bet it will get the volume knob. Memory seats, even cars in the 80's had memory seat settings, this should be standard on anything with power seat. CD players are dead, convert all your CD's to MP3 and put them on a thumbdrive. A cheap 8gb thumb drive will hold 60-70 albums easy and you can toggle thru them easily with the Honda system, which is actually pretty nice.

With Apple Car Play active, like using Apple Maps for navigation, can you still use the regular car radio simultaneously? For example, I would want to listen to the local radio while also allowing Apple Maps to direct me somewhere, is this possible? Asking specifically with regards to the 2016 Accord. Thanks!
Great demo! I've been reading everything I can get my hands on re: the Honda Sensing option, and had decided against it. That is, until I saw your demo - you sold me. Looks like a great feature to have, especially commuting daily through heavy Chicago area traffic.
A great review of a great car. Perhaps a quick demonstration could be included as well to show how to quickly pop this video on the display screen of the car during driving just in case people have trouble staying in a lane driving through a bend on a freeway or not following too closely. By the way, have just picked up an EX without the Honda Sensing, as the Honda Sensing does not make much sense to me. The person in the seat behind the wheel should be 100% in command and control of the car at all and any moments. But it's probably just me.
what about some freeways which have some wrong lines, means, lane lines which were omitted with new lines when the road is expanded etc. and there are intersecting lines. wont it change the line?
Thanks for the video. Nice demo of the sensing features and infotainment setup. I can't wait to get my new Civic. :) I'm guessing that Apple Car Play doesn't offer CZcams playback for safety reasons but I often listen to videos while I drive (news, debates, talk-shows, etc.). Is it possible to play the sound from apps on the phone that aren't standard in the Car Play menu like CZcams? P.S. I would recommend that you add an About Section to your channel or at least have the contact details of your dealership in the video description so people can easily reach you.
+Brain Candy TV You'd need to play the video, then pair your phone to the audio system via bluetooth or an AUX cable only - i.e. NOT CarPlay - to listen to videos. And, nothing would show on the 7" screen, obviously.
Bill Voigt Thanks for the reply, Bill. Hmm, that sounds like a bit of a pain. So you can't go from listening to music or podcasts via Car Play then to CZcams (or other non-Car Play apps) without first unpairing then re-pairing the phone? Hopefully I can find an acceptable workaround, or perhaps they will update Apple Car Play with additional app compatibility soon. Maybe they'll add the CZcams Music app which allows you to just play the audio portion of CZcams videos (would cut down on the mobile data usage as well). Apparently they'll be updating Car Play every time they release a new iOS so I guess we'll have to see.

I think the feature that I like the most is the blind spot camera turns on when blinker is on. Make lane change much easier and safer.
The only thing is that it is only on the passenger side and not on the driver's side.
so when you connect your phone, is the infotainment being powered by your phone.....as in is it using your phone data for maps and nav and so on. or is it just setting up a theme similar to your phone being that you're use to the way your phone looks.
+keino111689 also with the lane keep assist, if you have your hands simply placed on the wheel and you're going around a bend, will the car turn or maintain the lane without turning the steering wheel in your hands. I'm assuming when it adjusts itself the steering moves also, so if you're holding the wheel, you interface with what its doing. I know a tesla drives itself completely but that aspect of lane keeping and ACC is the same and the tesla just drive the whole time keeping the lane.......until it doesn't sense a lane of course.....all you need to do is prepare to take over when there are no road lines.

Honda requires a little more frequent driver input so you don't become complacent behind the wheel. Safety first but very similar.
great review but looks like its missing Homelink garage door opener and a mute button on the steering wheel for the audio system but other than that not a bad looking car

Use a computer to copy the songs from the cds onto your phone and play them that way.
