Happy run needs to increase the bikes power, have it in all black and use a battery blender so your top speed lasts longer. People want speed off the line in case a dog or tweaker comes running after you. Love the channel.

Where I live, you have to run from tweaker dogs, sometimes tweakers that think they’re dogs. It’s wild round here.
Ebike companies need to understand most of us want power over features, because features are easily upgradeable while power isn't. Companies like Goat power and Wired freedom understand that. For example, if you build a car that looks like a Ferrari, then people expect it to be kinda fast. Even in the video at 17:31 the first spec the guy asked was how fast does it go. Probably perfect for older people.

What I love about your review is you seem honest and I don’t feel like you’re trying to sell me another like the other reviewers do.
I wish they did a battery blender so you could run both batteries in parallel at the same time rather than having to get off the bike & flick a switch to change the battery when 1 gets low

Me too, I built my ebike with a conversion kit after becoming interested in them from his videos. I spent £700 in total excluding the bike which I already had and built myself a little 35mph motorcycle 🏍️

It's not great but I'm loving it, Otiamlar GT780 32kmh range up to 95 kms
So I am ordering another battery so I can get the same range with using my throttle. I cant afford much right now but for 839 after taxes cdn I am not complaining, I commute to work with it, charge every 2 days.

@@alwilliams3275 i might be looking at the same your talking about, please keep me updated. running both batteries at once means less power sag. currently going thru warranty for the top battery since it gets only 1/4 of the distance compared to the bottom battery. im trying to get the most out of both batteries until the new one arrives.

Well I asked happyrun what amp the BMS is I figured at least 40 amp to as much as 60 I am almost sure my balancer won't work due to it only being 30 amp but I love the bike I put 70 miles on it in 5 days lol

They claimed 50 mph 6 months ago, then they dropped it to 40-45mph. I replied on the ad no way it will even touch 40mph. The bike looks nice and sure it’s a good bike though.
I think they started out advertising it as Peak 1800W, which sounds more accurate for something that goes 31-33 mph. That would be 48V 40A current. Since a Voilamart 1500W kit with 48V 35A current gets you around 30-32 mph with lighter weight and thinner tires, 1800W sounds about right for this bike. I'd expect a true 2000W Peak to bring a fat bike up to 35 mph. Honestly, that tiny bit of missing power is a big penalty, because it prevents the bike from reaching proper 35 mph moped speed. On one hand, as an e-bike, moped speed and moped body might get you pulled over. On the other hand, moped speed and moped body might help you get better accepted on the road by drivers who otherwise don't like e-bikes on the road.
this bike by far looks the best out of all the bikes you have reviewed!

Why the price difference for the blue g-100 e-bike? I can not see any specs that are enhanced.

It would need a 42 amp controller to push 2k to the motor, but I don't think the batteries would be up to the task. From the performance it seems like it's peaking at 1200 to 1300 watts. Eye catching bike, and I agree that the range should be good.
FYI to get 2000 w on a 48 v system the controller would need to put 41 Amps to the motor. Check the controller specs to see if that is what it has to answer the question about the power available.

There is something about that bike that just throws me off, looks wise.. idk if its the short wheel base or the way the seat drops off down behind the battery, it makes it look like the bike is perking its butt in the air. 😂 😂 😂
How much does the bike weight? I own a lectric xp 3.0 ebike and its fairly heavy
this one weighs significantly more. I think I weighed it in the end of the unboxing portion. probably around 100-ish lbs with both batteries on it.

Disappointed in this bike. I was looking at buying it in December but they had sold out. Glad thing they did sell out because I went with the Motor Goat V3 which I love. The G100 is all style with little substance and this review proves it.

The switch makes no sense, and not to have dual batt discharge balancer wired in. Wtf
HappyRun G100 is all about style but looks can deceive. Pulls off the motorcycle design great, but doesnt deliver on the torque (2000w claims are doubtful *nice to see this Ch. admit this) and due to this bike being so HEAVY, it should have DUAL 1000w Motors with the option of a 2nd battery or be 52volts for the performance to match the looks, otherwise its just a facade. Another con which few people mention on moto ebikes is how having all that battery weight up high on the frame makes the bike TOP heavy and not good for handling (nice to see this truth mentioned in the video). Better to have batteries lower in the frame and the top used for quick access storage. One day theyll learn 🤦
Seems like a great bike, but after using the torque sensor on a Big Sur, I can't imagine every going back to a cadence sensor.
By comparison, it looks like it is only about 1Kw. When I am running my Zeeger S1 in single motor mode, it has the same top speed and 0-20 time.
When I am in single motor mode on the Zeeger S1, it is only 1Kw of power.
When you told the guys on the beach the name of the bike, in my head, you were telling them the name of your channel.. i was like, "Did this guy really just mess up the name of his own channel?" 😂 😂 😂

I'm looking at that girl on the Lectric (before and after the acceleration test) and wondering why it is that people set their saddles so low when they're on an electric bike!

if you upgrade your controller. that seems to be the bike's bottle neck.
Cool styling but no seat height adjustment so forget about actual exercise of pedaling

I've only had it for a week, I'm still getting used to it. The batteries are powerful, the motor is powerful, the rear shock absorber is too soft, it needs to be pumped up with air, but there is no high-pressure pump.
Overall a very good bike for the money!

Nice Looking bike, but it needs more power from the box. All the other things can be upgraded, power doesn't.
Its a 1000w motor that tailpappy refused to explain. Peak watts have little meaning as its only maintained for a few seconds. Any ebike reviewer who pushes peak watts is just a corporate shill and should not be trusted. Theyll say anything the manufacturer tells them to say to keep the free bikes rolling in.

@@stevendonovan9762 Yeah a bit surprised about it. Here in the EU it's always been max 250w and 25kmph max. I had a Unimoke 250w but after 4 years it got stolen some months ago. Now I'm definately gonna get a 750watt because they have no plans checking wattage the police said, only max speed. Which can be easily changed back and forth... When I am on the country side I need at least 35kmph lol

There is no such thing as a class 4 or 5. The manufacturer is trying to make you believe off road and other made up modes have been approved for road use by the feds and states. They haven't. There is class 1,2 and 3 and anything else is on private property (most government trails and parks only allow class 1 and occasionally 2) or you have to register your ebike as a moped or motorcycle at the DMV. Don't forget the liability insurance...

Im ebike guy , in my chistory I have already 15 ebikes in last 10 years, also chinese bikes. Now they ae everywhere and most of them are cheap shitty copies of expensive ones, this one to, it tries to look kinda s73 type, Im curious why those manufacturers cant design anything that looks original and still cost below 2K. Reason is coz they all buying this shit from big companies and only adding logo on it. On chinese wholesales websites you can find those bikes for 30% of price without any names on it.
