I always see and read that people misunderstand how his seventh quirk works. Gear Shift allows the user to change his speed and also the speed of something he touches (That means accelerating and slowing down). It doesn't go as fast to warp reality, but it sure does ignore the LAWS of reality since it is impossible for any object to ignore inertia like that and change speeds that quickly. Deku can use different speeds (gears) and alternate between them in need. It is an awesome quirk but some people didn't understood it properly.

And the answer is that there is an ability in MHA that can heal almost anything but when deku use one for all that ability became useless and deku would have to do a Sergery and that would leave a lot of scars and if deku use OFA so many times he could lose his arms
The only quirk that could approach that outside of AFO regeneration is Eri's rewind, which technically wouldn't be healing.
Recovery girl's quirk does not heal everything, only speeds up what the body can do naturally.
