There are three thing you shouldn’t change for a good story 1 change the characters gender 2 change the characters sexuality 3 change the character over all characteristics with out reason. If you change any of those three then it projecting and a sing of a bad writer if you want a gay character write in one but don’t change the main character for no solid reason and that’s why people hate the mha fandom because 90% of them try and change Izuku and ship him with people when the ochako was literally made for him that’s the main reason why she was added to the story.
