I have the og's from 98 and the fakes shape matches the og's. The og's don't have that flat banana looking shape and the toe box is more round.
Yes sir. The retros have dead space on the bottom of the tongue. The OGs had vent holes all the way to the Jordan tag. The OGs had bigger vent holes on the tongue as well. The toungue on the OGs wasnt super long either.

The “real “ pair looks fake and the “fake” looks 100 times closer to the OG. But we out here spending 200+ for the fake looking garbage jordan brand puts out just because it comes from Nike. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Facts
Another difference is the smoothness/roundness of the paneling above the Hologram/Cat Eye. Those fakes are actually closer to the OG's than the retros are.
I doubt it if the date can tell you if is fake or not. My flint has 09/18/19 but the bar code takes you to Nike app when you scan the shoe

I've checked some of the prices for these Jordans. Retail usually averages around $190 to $200. These so called UA sneakers retail for about $150 (40 dollar difference). In my opinion it doesn't make sense. Yeezys on the other hand cost alot more and are simple looking. If I ever considered going UA I would cop a pair of yeezys, Balenciaga, etc. To each its own.
