Marias voice is angelic her costume is inspired and my god she is beautiful..... she connects the scandinavian with the anglo saxon, the germanic and the slav! I have never in my 65 years been so inspired by music.

@@anomunousfugc8034 If you're into Metal, I highly suggest Sabaton. They do songs about war and historical battles etc. Everything they sing about has happened or is about something real. My favorite album is Carolus Rex, the rise and fall of the Swedish Empire in the 1600's.

Christians, especially Evangelicals and especially American evangelicals aren’t doing themselves any favors. The US isn’t a theocracy, they need to keep religion out of politics and out of people’s private lives. I’m looking forward to a totally secular society where an atheist has just as much chance of becoming president as anyone else.

I listened to Heilung for the first time today; I had heard of them, but never actually sat down and watched a video. And OH MAN. I am not disappointed. As soon as this started I got goosebumps and chills all over by body even though it's 80 degrees F in my house. About halfway through I suddenly got emotional and tears sprung to my eyes, and I don't cry so easily. This ritual music touches something deep and primal within me I can't even name. Definitely going through their playlist!
Heilung is for some reason my go to when I'm feeling emotional or need some peace.. it resonates deeply.

I listen to a Heilung playlist that includes a other like-minded artists during my workday and sometimes at night I want to hear them again and alter myself a bit and let the experience wash over me. This leaves me transfixed. I am a mix of many bloods, the most prominent being Mohawk and German. This speaks to me in a world where words are irrelevant.
