A. We also have 6 kids! 1 travels with us most of the time and is the resident in the roof top tent on our Runaway. 2 are special and will be with us indefinitely. 2 are getting their masters and 1 - we’re not sure where she is, but we hope she’s well.
2. We too eat for our health. I have auto immune issues, my wife has had brain tumors and skin cancers galore (grew up in the south). We tried vegan - that was disastrous for me. I gained so much weight and the starches just didn’t get along with me at all. Now I’m on a very strict carnivore diet and thriving. I take my morning vitamins, that’s it. No more injections or anything.
3. Did I spy some Xero shoes? I don’t have any Xero, but do have and love Lems, Altras and my favorite Luna sandals.
D. Packing is the worst. We went out for a few nights over the this last weekend with the kids. Got all the way there, set up and my son tells me he forgot his cot. 😮 so I drive home and back again.
The next day was peaceful, we didn’t do much until dinner. While we were eating, 32:14 the DNR ranger came round and let us know we were under tornado warning. We were packed up, hooked up and headed home within the hour. We Sunday morning they had gotten over 5” of rain that night.

Dude that’s crazy! So many similarities! What’s really crazy is we have one who is AWOL as well! Last we knew he was in TX but haven’t heard from him in years. Maybe one day both of our lost ones will come back into the family again! Yes, we are big fans of xero shoes! We both have several pair! Hahaha! And on our last trip I had to return to the house as well….because I forgot my running shoes! Only an hour and 15 minutes away thankfully! Glad you were able to avoid the dangerous weather my friend!
