ROG 12 RK Mods: OVS Awning Install & Door Holders

- Hey Gangsters! Today we install an OVS Nomadic 2.0 6.5 foot awning to the rear of the ROG 12 RK! Tired of getting wet trying to cook when it. is raining! Hopefully this new awning will give is some good coverage in width and in length. It is 6.5 feet wide and 8.2 feet long. We will also show your our very simple door holder for the rear kitchen doors to keep them out of the rain, but still be able to keep them open! Hope this video is a help to ya! Blessings!

Nice upgrade from the stock awning. I did the OVS 270 on my RK12 SS. It covers the whole side and rear really nice. I also did the ROAM 6.5" awning on the driver side (open to driver side door) with the room attachment, so we have standing room and more enclosed space.

Thank you. You just answered so many questions. I just purchased your ROG and I was wondering why the awnings were two different colors and why the wheel does not fit…lol.

Should have used washers

Anytime you have a slotted hole you should always use a washer. After enough road vibration those nuts will eat up that aluminum
How long does it take to set up , then down
I can usually set it up myself in about 5 minutes and take it down in about the same amount of time. Pretty easy once you get used to it!
