  • This week, I am continuing with our Rosacea series as I makeup Rosie Green, who is a long term sufferer with the skin condition Rosacea. This film is relevant not only if you are struggling with Rosacea, but if you have any type of skin redness. I demonstrate how to create an even complexion with makeup products specifically for knocking back redness. I hope you have found these films helpful and please do share any different makeup products you have found worked with skin redness.
Speed Beauty films are released weekly on a Saturday at 9am. To keep up to date with new film releases, please subscribe to my Speed Beauty CZcams channel and click the notification bell.
Please check back in the playlists for other films with Rosie, these include, What's in Rosie Greens makeup bag and Skincare for Rosacea.

The aim of Speed Beauty is to introduce you to and provide you with techniques for make up, skin & hair care products. I only show you products that I love and really believe in. Each product I use is heavily researched before deciding to make a film and I try and provide you with as much accurate information as possible. The views on this CZcams Channel are my own and are based on having personally tried the products myself.
The products I use in these films are either bought by myself, are part of my professional kit or they’ve been sent to me by PR companies for review. I am not currently paid for producing the films you watch. Some of the films contain affiliate links in the description, but not all. If you are happy to click on these links to continue support this channel that would be very lovely, thank you.
You should always research whether the products I recommend are suited to you. Everyones skin is different and I offer no warranties and don’t claim to be a dermatologist. Some products are really expensive and an investment purchase so it’s always wise to test product on your skin to check for allergies or adverse reactions before you buy. Some make up & skin care brands offer you samples to take away & try. This is always a good idea before deciding on an expensive purchase.

Loved this! I have redness and rosacea and have also been afraid to try (again, now that I’m not 17 & the formulas are different) the green tint stuff. This has given me inspiration to try it. Just beautiful.

Mild rosacea girl here- by mild i mean im always red and textured skin but rarely get bumps. Now, i conceal the colour with beige tone foundation and im so happy to see one colour only but then i put the blush on and im like: oh dear, all this makeup steps to look like at the beginning. And then the spf, goosh no matter what foundation is or spf brand - and im kind of a junkie of both - after few hours my whole face looks cakey with patches. I give up on makeup and then i watch your vids and all i want to do is to put some makeup on and feel that gorgeous as you look. What a struggle 😌

The look was so beautiful. I'd love to know about some cheaper green primers that are really good as I think those 2 are out of my budget although I expect they last a long time. More films about base please. Rosie looked amazing! Please talk about makeup over mineral sunscreen. I don’t like to put moisturizer on top of sunscreen ( goes underneath) and have not had too much luck with primers ( how to match primer to foundation?). Sunscreen is non negotiable for me every day. Waiting 20 min to apply makeup on top helps but I don’t always have that amount of time.
Also, make up sits differently on my upper lip than anywhere else. Ever encountered this?

Rosie looks beautiful! Brilliant job! Would this approach (and those concealers) work for dark age spots/pigmentation too? Can't afford lasers yet (your skin looks amazing post-laser!!), so am looking for solutions that don't look like layers of plaster!! Will you do a similar 'fix' for someone with those problems?

  • @BuildYourOwnSmallBusiness

As a rosacea sufferer, I'll have to adopt a few of these techniques for my own videos. I hope I look that good when I'm done!
BTW, the face blindness chat is a real thing -it's called the 'Self-Reflection Paradox.' This is when you can't seem to write your own bio, define your personality attributes, or identify any other personal flaws because they're so subjective. It can be done thru a technique called distancing but it's much easier and quicker if you talk to friends, colleagues, and professionals to get insights. HTH!

I use Revitalash for lash growth and it really works, it has a prostaglandin, like Lumigan, though the dose in lash growth serums is about the 10th of the preparation for glaucoma, and also you don't use drops, just a tiny brush. I like Revitalash better than Lumigan. The iris discoloration can happen in eyes that have specks of brown or yellow-brown and those eyes can turn brown (specially when treated for glaucoma with drops, it's rare when the lash growth serum is used as it should, but it can be avoided if you use the serum in the morning and you wait and apply mascara about 30 min later so it doesn't run, which can happen at night while you sleep). My eyes are brown but the shade hasn't change (with glaucoma treatment they can get darker and kind of dull). Don't use it on lower lashes or your dark circles will become really, really dark.
    Love, Sol

Hard to trust green creams since; I’ve tried Dr Jart’s Cicapair but it doesn’t seem to do the trick (or perhaps I am blending it too much as the green tint is a bit scary!). Will try your kind recommendation of the eborian version. Thank you for trying to help those of us with skin concerns! I liked the L'Oreal CC Glam Nude Cream when my Rosacea was in a flare up.

The eye drops ( prescription .. for the eye condition) can darken the eye colour.

True. There are a lot of health warnings with them. Other options on the market, though, like Revitalash

IT Cosmetics makes an oil-free matte version of the cc cream that I love! It doesn't cause breakouts or irritation.

Unfortunately IT Cosmetics is packed with dimethicone...I would not use it on sensitive skin at all...

It would be good to zoom in on Rosie’s face a bit more so we can see the beautiful look a bit better.
Please do the red lip on Rosie, she would look amazing! X

I don't understand how her sensitive skin if she has it can tolerate any makeup. You probably just put over 100 chemicals on her skin. That CC cream has WAY too many ingredients in it plus fragrance. This makeup is NOT for rosacea skin. This is a very misleading video as most of them are when it comes to rosacea.
