I dig that set up. I just ordered the rcbs matchmaster seater die

How do you have your seating die setup? is it touching the plate? I've been trying to do the same process (minus i size and trim separately) where I use pre-sized and trimmed/chamfered brass, Prime the case on press, run the black nitride mandrel in station 2, power funnel in station 3, and then bullet seating in station 4. Its been working good from a process perspective, though my OAL is not NEARLY as consistent as it should be, it can be off by 15-20 thou... Are you letting the seating die touch the shellplate? i wonder if thats something i should try - though have seem recommendations to never let the seater die touch the plate.

Thanks for watching! I have my die ran down as low as I can, but it’s not touching the shell plate. I don’t know if I can touch the shell plate with mine and still have enough adjustment left in the die for longer bullets?

I do pretty much the same thing though the difference is I use scoops for manual charges which is painful…. I haven’t made a decision yet on which powder dispenser to go with yet.. just can’t swallow the Fx-120 cost. If you did this process with the Hornady auto charge pro or rcbs Chargemaster do you think it would be similar speed? It seems like when you dump your powder the charge was ready and waiting for you, so it doesn’t seem like powder drops are the bottleneck, at least with the AT system that is.

You most certainly could use a charge master or similar and accomplish the same thing. You are correct that it will probably slow you down about 10-15 seconds per round (from my experience with other dispenser systems vs the AutoTrickler).
I would recommend trying the new ChargeMaster Supreme, as it has the “powder learning” feature that may help speed up the time.

I see a resizing die but you did not mention resizing ,,if so have you checked your brass for consistency ?

Good eye! I was actually only using the expander ball on the resizing die (the die was backed out enough that no sizing of the body or neck was happening). I had already sized and trimmed the brass prior to loading using a bushing die with no expander ball in it. And yes, I have checked the brass for resizing consistency and it seems to be right on par with my single stage presses

Good video but to me SPEED is not the point. Maybe I am in the minority. Just sayin'.
