Why wouldn't you sort them by base-to-ogive? You seem to already have the right tool for this... This would result in all your bullets being seated equally deep, not that I would go through the trouble of sorting them at all... Just don't think its worth it in terms of the improvement to be had of repeatability/precision
@@stricklyreloading8494 yeah, from what I've read most of them just buy quality bullets (Berger, etc) and be done with it. There are far more important steps in the reloading process to spend your time on IMHO
I see your reasoning with base to tip but I personally get better consistency base to ogive.

As I mentioned in the video, several of the top shooters in the world say to sort by OAL.
