Probably the best list of gifts I’ve seen released on CZcams mix of function and aesthetic your videos are definitely my favorite for edc gifts thanks everyone over there for the work you do!
Thanks for the kind comment - really appreciated
@@JonGadget of course! Merry Christmas! 👋
I’ve been pondering what “20 last minutes” means for way too long before I realised how the title reads.
Ha ha yeah
may be I need a hyphen 😊
7:33 Hey Jon does Incharge X support data transfer on OnePlus Nord ? I am asking specifically for data transfer because there are some cables which charge OnePlus but can't transfer data @@JonGadget
Et pourtant vous êtes anglo-sawon🤣👍
Last-minute would be more accurate.
I have to mention, they just recently released an updated version of the Tomtoc sling with x-pac material. It may be more expensive than the normal sling but they've improved so many of the features that it's hard to pass up. The interior is a bright orange color and the exterior is fully waterproof, including the ykk zippers, also the buckles are now duraflex buckles.
It does look good - although as you mentioned it's twice the price. They have a lot of new stuff coming out which is worth looking out for.
Jon, based on your review of some time ago, I just got around to buying a Bellroy sling bag and couldn't be more delighted with it. It's beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and just a joy to use. This is only the latest of several recent purchases based on your recommendations and I've found them all to be incredibly useful. Thank you for your channel and the great work you do in evaluating various products! I look forward to enjoying your videos further in 2024.
Absolutely superb. More ideas for myself! Thanks John, looking forward to the next one as always.
Thank you - good to hear 👍
I've been watching your videos for a while and found that 3 of your recommendations make a nice little wallet-based EDC: a black Exster wallet with a black Swiss Card Lite tucked into the band on one side and a set of Thin Optics glasses in a black pod case in the band on the other side - covers all my everyday essentials in one easy to carry package!
Nice 👍
Thanks for the video.
The Vitorinox Swisscard includes a fixed blade so is not UK legal carry.
Thank you and happy Christmas 🙏
You're welcome - Merry Christmas 🎅
Nice reviews! Interesting stuff
Just what I needed, more stuff to buy!
....for gifts 👍
yes... of course.. Gifts... For other people... yes.@@JonGadget
Awesome video. Right up my street. Defo some good ideas for me ❤️
Love your Videos came in real handy
great to hear
Thank you for your great content, really is appreciated. Have a great Christmas and New Year.
Thanks so much. You too 👍
Love your videos Jon, have a great Christmas and we look forward to what you have to share with us in 2024.
Hallo Jon,wünsche dir ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und ein richtig gutes neues Jahr 2024 ! Gruss 😀👍
Frohe Weihnachten und ein glückliches neues Jahr auch für Dich.
Great list, Sir!
I hope to see a Christmas video this year as well!!!
Hey Jon, could you take a look at the Wazoo Cache Cap and do a video about some EDC that could be carried in one? I've seen a lot of videos from others who emphasize it for carrying emergency survival items, but was hoping for someone to show the possibilities of it's use as urban EDC.
I've personally been thinking about it, but can't come up with much that seems like it would fit well and not weigh the hat down too much.
Couple of bandages, bit of spare cash, a small blade tucked away into a brim pocket, maybe a mini pen clipped onto the brim.
Just got that tomtoc yesterday, and i am amazed at how much it can fit. I can put my Tab S6 and its Logitech keyboard, my notebook, pen, airpods, phone, card holder, multi tool, pack of gums, lipstick, keys, and a lighter. The green version looks dope, i highly recommend it !!!
Great to hear👍
Nice
I may have to add that Worksharp device to my tool collection.
It works really well 👍
Thank you, your videos have been a life saver this year to build my partner an advent calendar. The HOTO screwdriver was a big hit as was the Rovyvon. I'm always reluctant to by 3rd party from Amazon but Rovyvon were superb. I went for the Rovyvon A4 which is the titanium version rather than the A8 and its great quality and so powerful.
Thanks for adding links. Unfortunately none of them work.
Merry Christmas Jonathan. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, keep it up. I dream of owning all the great things you show me, but i do own a few and they are as good as you say. Thank you. Ray.
Great gear choices as always 😊
Thank you
@@JonGadget You're most welcome, Merry Christmas 🥂😊
Thanks for the info
Thanks Jon you just might have saved my bacon!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours 😀
Merry Xmas Phil, glad it was helpful
Nice one Jon...Merry Christmas 😀
Thank you - Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you
You're welcome
Love to see a Te.U haul next year, Jon. Happy Christmas.
much as I do enjoy videos clowning on cheap garbage, it's kind of past the novelty point now, and unfortunately every video on temu, wish, alibaba, etc. does give them advertisement, whether intentional or not
Not had any experience of Temu - but if Wish is anything to go by.....
I've indulged and have not been disappointed. @@JonGadget
Man that work sharp field sharpener is the best thing ever for sharping
It is great 👍
Zippo has been making those since I was a cub scout!
Hi Jon, I really enjoyed your video, though or better because I have seen most of the presented items in previous videos. You made a really good job in creating an inspiring compilation. Hope, you will spend some calm and relaxing Christmas Days, looking forward to see you again in your next presentation. Have a good time, best regards from Frank
always great ideas
Thanks Kathleen
I've been using the nightcore edc27 for a month now at work. It pretty much get's daily use, I tend to bounce back and forth between 65 and 200 lumens, and I only charged it the day it came in. I work doing electrical and I'm often digging around in ceilings so I usually would carry a main flashlight and a couple of backups. I've only used my backup's if I need a flashlight with a magnetic base. That's honestly my only gripe that it doesn't have a magnet with it, but I can live without it. If you're just looking to get it as an emergency or just a normal edc flashlight and not a work light, you really can't do better, it'll last and it can take a beating.
8:03 love this!
Amazing detail - more in depth review link in description if you need to know more
I had that classic sak card and lost my wallet. My wallet was turned in and I got my wallet back and the only thing missing was that sak card. Debit card, credit card, cash id etc untouched so id say its pretty handy lol.
😁
When you recycle the Aircard, is your new one half price?
Happy Christmas
Happy Christmas
I'd choose the Fieldmaster over the Huntsman any day as it has a proper phillips screwdriver instead of the anachronistic cork screw despite the tiny screwdriver and tinder.
For outdoor use I don’t think the Philips beats the corkscrew. General use I would agree, but I like Compact for that.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Jon and Jamie and all the best for 2024
Thank you Mike. Merry Christmas to you too.
Hi, I need help - I need a flashlight in EDC format that has two LEDs, red and white regular light. I carry out military tasks, so on the first line in the dark I really need a red light so as not to be noticed by the enemy, and on the second line I can use white. It should be neither small nor large) I will be very grateful if you indicate possible names, thank you)
Got my compact for 18 pounds last year !
Great price!
Be aware the Swisscard is not UK EDC legal because of the fixed blade. I think there is a version that has scissors instead of the blade that would be ok.
The nailcard does not have a blade - it would be strange I think if anyone was pulled up for carrying the Swisscard in normal circumstances despite the technicality of the fixed blade.
@@JonGadget I agree, the chances are slim, but it could get someone in trouble and I always like to avoid that.
Thank you for review!
I want the jacket ☺
I have 3 questions if ok?
1. Is the jacket noisy or quiet? Does it make noise when you swing your arms etc? I don't like noisy clothes. I like silent clothes.
2. Does dog fur stick to it?
3. I'm 6ft/183cm and 95kg. Fit body. I wear size 34 jeans. I prefer a bit loose fit. What size should I buy?
Thank you!
Another great video Jon. Now if I could just find an equal good gifts for women video. Or better yet a similar channel focused on things women EDC.
Thank'YOU Bro❣️... Really 🤣
No problem 😊
👍👍👍👍👍
That FireAnt is my next purchase. The corkscrew on knives is a useless item to me.
I’ve had a nightmare with the zippo hand warmers. The catalysts don’t last and are expensive to replace. I’ll stick with the rip open pouches
👍🍻
Swiss card blade is upside down 😅
Very possibly 😁
I wish that Victorinox would upgrade their flashlight on their knives. Seems like they could make a brighter light at this point in 2023 almost 2024. Maybe the heat would be a problem but still it’s just so dim compared to other flashlights, but if you think about, Rovy Von for instance And their LED sights those are super tiny and they’re very bright. So I don’t see why they can’t make them better, and I would gladly immediately hand them money.
Vic uses a simple exposed LED due to size and battery power constraints - no space for a reflector etc. Will light up a cupboard but a long way from a Rovyvon as you say.
@@JonGadget I’m sure there’s probably a reason but the side emitters on a RovyVon seem brighter maybe due to a larger array of emitters. I don’t have mine handy. But if Victorinox went for a thicker overall build like they do on some of the multiple layer models but used the extra thickness for a decent flashlight and kept the tool set to one or two layers I think it would be fine. I used to have a Gerber pocket knife that had a triple A flashlight but the flashlight was not that bright and the tools left something to be desired. If Victorinox did it right it could be really good. I’m thinking a rechargeable flat battery instead of a triple A style. I have a very flat small Fenix and if it was a bit less wide and had one or two layers of tools it could work. If you are already carrying a Victorinox and a flashlight in your pocket anyway then the heft and bulk are already there. Basically what it comes down to is execution. If it was done right, it would be super cool. And if it was done wrong, it would be a novelty and some thing that wouldn’t quite hit the mark we were hoping for. That’s kind of how the Gerber was. It was too heavy and bulky with a full triple A light.
Jon make an edc video for childrens 😂😂
£38 😳 for the 1st one!
torch+pen good to have though - lots of lower cost options if not needed
Making the rich richer. Shop local.
Where are you Jon?
Is that Moby?
Does anyone file their nails with the nail filer?
Just wondering…
As I keep saying, the AirTag is the only Apple feature I'd like on my Android. Would be nice if Google came up with an alternative.
You do know Tile trackers exist and function the exact same way, right?
@@BasedHyperborean No, they absolutely do not function in the same way. Tile trackers only work if you're in range of them. If someone steals your car or your airline misplaces your luggage, you're out of luck. AirTags work wherever there's an iPhone in range, so you can track your stuff anywhere on the planet.
would be tricky I think as they don't control the hardware -
@@JonGadget Well, they do control the hardware for their Pixel phones. And I would have imagined that at least one manufacturer, Samsung most likely, would have tried this by now. Maybe it's a matter of copyright.
Samsung do have a bunch of trackers called SmartTag, SmartTag+ and I think SmartThings.
Tsa friendly???? Dont think so
You may have missed the bit where I say with knife removed…
£53 for a key ring torch don’t care how bright it is that’s crazy expensive to be honest none of these seem like last minute presents more like a main present ideas 😮 so expensive.
Sure - not for everyone 👍
No, but shame really would have been good to have seen some more budget friendly items most people don’t have that kind of money to spend of these especially in the uk 🇬🇧 at the moment. But to be honest see all the time on CZcams at the moment oh look these items, they are amazing but they cost a fortune and out of most people budget I’d love half the kit but I couldn’t justify the price nor can i afford it. I have a key ring torch from light that I got for free but when they are not on offer they were about £10 and are plenty bright enough as I use mine to walk the dog with.
My credit card is blocked, not even a pouch for 8$ 😭😭😭
Sorry, but I have to tell:
many useless stuffs for real world! BUY! SPENT MONEY! BUY AGAIN! SPENT MORE! BUY MORE! AND MORE! AND MORE!
Shame!
How are these useless? And if you don't like buying things why are you watching a video about buying things?
@@inkscratch many things just piece of a capitalist world. I like edc. but now this is just business. Companies make more money but products (in usually) totally useless in real world scenario.
Other side of the horse.
@@talpalatnyizold I kind of understand what you mean about the companies making money, but these items definitely are not useless. If they were useless then people in the EDC community (people that care about useful well-made things) would not buy them and therefore the companies would not make money
@@inkscratch I also what you mean. But those people who buy these edc products never used those in 99 percent. Like me.
I bought some kind of "useful" edc things in past but never used! Nice to have but not necessary!
So I stopped.
In my oppinion: this is a hobby. Make happiness to collect bunch of stuff but waste money at the same time.
I collected many edc items at past and I never needed nothing. Except multitool. But when I needed multitool I was at home. So why I don't use dedicated screwdriver or plier for that?
In these days I seeing these kind of videos but I just disappointing every single time.
Otherwise: this can be a good hobby, not more.
it's not for everyone - but I regularly use most of the items featured here - so I can say with confidence that it is not 'useless' in my world - but I appreciate it might be in others
Holy crap you edc CZcamsrs just post the same items on every video
