  • This time I'm having a look inside the engine bay of an Audi A4 B8, 2010 model. I'm naming components and pointing out the fitting locations of all basic parts under the hood. Sorry for the bad sound quality!
    Engine: 2.0 TDi 170bhp. Engine code: CAHA.

    Hei, har en 2015 A4 Allroad 2.0 TDI (CNHA) den har ikke peilepinne for motorolje, men den har et plastrør med avtagbar plugg på toppen som antageligvis går til bunnpannen. Tror du det er mulig å skaffe peilepinne denne motoren?
    Som sagt så er røret av plast og ikke av metall slik som det er på biler med peilepinne fra fabrikk. Hva er det røret til når det ikke er peilepinne der?

    Hi great video btw, I wanted to know if there's a way to clean the Dpf without regen at high speed or VCDS regen via Vagcom. Someone recommended Wurth dpf cleaner which is injected into the dpf itself. Do you think this would work? Could you instruct on how to carry this out.
    Thanks in advance 😊

    • @TordAndreassen
      @TordAndreassen  Před 5 lety

      Unfortunately I have no experience with such cleaners. But I assume you will have to let the filter burn clean after using the cleaning solution, either by driving or by forced regen. I guess the benefit would be questionable, unless the filter is above the limit for what a standard regen can handle (above 40g). But if it is blocked, why not give it a try? 🙂

    A4 B8 2.0 TDI (CAGC) - I have rough idle (engine shaking badly, seems to work louder, noticeable vibrations inside of cabin), rev gauge is not fluctuating, it happens random, and after pressing acc. pedal for few times or driving for a short time it becomes normal... does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I need to clean EGR valve (i think it is dirty), i tried to clean "throttle body" myself long time ago but later on i've read that butterfly plate inside is not good to touch or push, and i was pushing and releasing many times while cleaning, it is possible that i damaged my TB ? Also, i noticed engine temperature gauge is reaching 90 deg really slow and if i turn on heating it goes back to 70...60... degree..

      I have operating heat issues. never really reaches 90 where it should sit. and driving motore way it sits between 60-70-80. I am changing my thermostat today and doing a coolant system flush. hopefully all the problem is just a stuck thermo.

    I have a 2009 audi a4 quattro premium b8 engine code CAEB. When I start my car it turns on but then brings to shake not a vibration but a violent shake, but as soon as I'm driving over 10 miles per hour the shake is gone it drives and feels great! But as soon as I come to a light where I have to idle/stop, it begins to shake violently again, sometimes if I let it shake at idle for to long the EPC light comes on and I have to shut the car off. Then I turn it back on and its back at a rough idle but I can just drive more then 10 mph and it's fine again

      @@rayc1503 it was due the bad FPR (fuel pressure regulator). In fact, with existing FPR it was shaking/vibrating random, and after changing FPR now it doesn't shake but vibrations are still here, most of the time when it is colder weather. In my opinion neither old or new are good, but new one is better because there are no shaking of engine anymore. Vibrations are maybe because of something else (engine mounts etc).
