Congrats for the result, do you think that this version is better than pure or kash one? I mean, u're in a good spot only if you open with ostinato, while if you open with just refrain and snake eye ash in ur hand u will lose to 1 ht anyways, right? In testing I noticed that if you dont see any melodious cards (even if u open with the 2 brick they're useless) u have just 3 dead extra deck cards, which seems for me too bad to justify them. Maybe considering thrust going 2nd can be an option, but what do you side out then? My question is:
Is really worthy to play 3 power spell cards for 3 extra deck slots, 2 more bricks in the deck and potentially ridudancy with 6-9 normal summons?
this is exactly the same issue i had with testing. As of such, i did cut SE Ash to 2, added Agnimal Candle (if you open Bonfire/Wanted/Diabellstar + Melodius combo you can end on Herold or extender) and Crossout.
But still the potential to brick is real. It is absolutely putting more power for lesser playable hands.
The other option i am considering is playing crossout + calledby with minimal handtraps and more gas cards (reborn, one for one, terraforming, chicken game etc.) with board breakers (droplets, dark ruler, tactics / thrust).
But at the moment, i don't think this the best deal as in a good engine for SE.
With a higher deck count I didn’t find myself opening too many normals very often. you could even consider cutting snake eye ash to 2 like the ycs topping deck did. Thrust is definitely a consideration I had for the deck, going second you can easily side out witch one for one and a snake eye ash (if you’re on 3). Yes there are two bricks but the Kash engine also has one in birth. By no means do I think this list is perfect but I do think that the engine is incredibly powerful and worth experimenting with
