Brother sun and sister moon? More evidence that the Catholic Church has gone way off the deep end. They should re-read Ezekiel, particularly the part where God left the temple because the priests were worshiping the sun instead of the one true God. Then again, the Catholic Church worships idols, hides sexual abuses rather than confronts it, and acts more like a cult than anything resembling Christianity.
A fanatic is, by choice, always blinded to the truth.
You have no idea of the meaning of St. Francis saying: "Brother sun, sister moon".. It is simply a thankfulness for God's awesome creation.
If you had bothered to search our compendium of beliefs, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, you would have found that "we believe in one God".
