Anyone know that ARP patch used for the Stranger Things theme on the Kross ,2? Can't seem to find it.
I bought this keyboard based on that first sound with the orchestral and timpani sound, but I couldn't find anywhere after I got the keyboard. How do I get this sound patch?
I'm a Roland/Yamaha guy. But I loved the Korg Kross I when I first tried it out a few years ago. The one thing that kept me from bringing it home was the horrible keyboard feel. The keys depth and feel reminded me of a toy piano. I hope they improved the key bed in V. 2 because if they did, I will definitely be buying it! And I love the addition of the pads, very helpful during live shows. I wish Yamaha would do the same.
I bought a Kross 2 & sent it back, just didn't like the keys feel. everything else is great , but I need to enjoy playing it & it felt plastic . Pity I've had loads of 61 keys Korgs & even a tactile 49key & they all play better than these keys., you can't do organ shreds on it. it's a workstation .
I felt the same way about the Yamaha modx6. Loved the sounds but the keyboard action was like a cheap crappy Casio so I didn't buy it.
I stuck with my kross for about six months, but now I want to resell it just because of the keyboard feel

Does anyone know whether, or not, there are multiple split options available, i.e. to create a programme with say four different parts, or layers, in different areas of the keyboard, which can be saved, or it limited to one split?

Is the keyweight of the Kross any lighter than the Kronos? I found from a pianist point of view to be to heavy
I've got one and have filled a bank of sampler pads full of Doctor Who samples like the tardis and sonic screwdriver, dalek ray gun etc. the other one has classic old Star Trek sounds, phaser, tricorder, ambient ship sound, door opening etc. ha ha ha, it's so funnty...my girlfriend hates them but I think they're marvellous, nothing like pressing a button and hearing the tardis materialising or the swoosh of a sliding door from the starship enterprise.

Very nice keyboard but why tone is cutting while we change isnot any function like Patch remain ON In XPS 30 ..tone cut problem matters in show specially in India bcoz it may happen that only one melody will be leading..it makes big difference between XPS30 & Kross 2..

I played it at guitar center and it doesn't has no rotary sou d for the organ. So I'm kinda like...but it's cool for pulling and playing and I didn't know it could sample so easy. So I'm liking a little more
Yes it does. All you had to do was move the pitch wheel which turns the rotary on and off.

Manual says usb audio interface, does this act as a midi controller with audio interface built in for output from computer?

You mentioned that Korg has upgraded the sounds....can you please define the word...upgrade??Reason I ask,is that both Kross 1 & 2 have the same engine,the same effects & both have 4 voices per oscillator...which just leaves the PCM content.Is the extra 16MB of PCM data of the Kross 2,applied to some of the presets from the old Kross?Or does the increased ROM just account for the Kroos 2's total number of presets?

Yes you can add them to favorites but that’s taking away your sample pads I don’t know I don’t like the idea.

At 2'57, one can see the only way found by Korg to have the sound of the K2000 !
("K2000" was the french title of the "Knight Rider" series).... ;o)

Yes, it is perfect because it has a most of those classic retro eities and nineties synth sounds and is fully programmable to adjust them to your own needs.
Can you save your sequences INSIDE the keyboard itself?
yes, but you must save them to the sd card. if you turn it off it doesn't remember your work until you reload it in
I am interested in the juno ds, but now i see this and im leaning towards this kross.

Go with the Roland. I have the kross2 . You can't stretch 1 or multiple the samples across ALL of the keys. Only just 16 keys

Roland xps30 vs korg kross2 who is the best keyboard
Both have 90% similar function..But here The Kross 2 will be 1 step forward for editing sample , Which doesn't perform on xps30.
