I got the first gen and I’m so wanting the second my dude. I always read specs and this joker is packed out. Over 1k programs. And it has filter knobs. I want the Korg x50 too. It has a crappy piano but the synths on that joint is crazy. It’ll definitely stand the test of time today.
@@theworld2781 So as far as I understand, with the combis can you later / split up to 16 sounds across the keyboard? And be able to change the parameters and the range of notes the sound applies to for each timbre?
Can someone who owns this synthesizer give us a good thoughts about keyboard (key's)? Is it really cheap mechanism? Or something like older models, like korg i3?
I use it as a controller only in local off. The 16 pads sampler for triggering short samples and backup songs in audio. It is my complimentary keyboard for my KROME, so when I need a short sample unavailable on Krome, the kross 2 is my option.
Just the fact that he can make the keys heard is amazing. I really like this keyboard. My Motif XF costs 3 x more and missed the simplicity this has. The keys do have more resistance on Korg Kross.
@@MrStrat01 Fantom is amazing but the price is five times this Korg Kross, man. As a keyboardist from a third world country, i would have to save 2 years of unstoppable work😅
It's better than most juno D and G series... I play both Kross and Juno, and PSR S with assigned knob, they are better placement than juno... My opinion..
La cara de Jordan: "por qué carajo no me hice endoser de Yamaha o Roland?" jajajaja Estuve a punto de comprarme ese sintetizador.. Las teclas son de un plástico berreta.. You are right, but still, it is very interesting for its recording features/size/weight/battery autonomy but it sounds quite bad in real life ! I bought one on the net and sent it back after a few days. Yamaha (Motif sound) provides higher quality at a good price (MX, Mofx).
lol the world best synth player with another poor and thin digital sounding china toy :-)Jordan, use vintage or modern proffessional analog synths only, no more china toys, Plz!
1:58 you can tell JR is used to weighted keys lol
He can sell anything that sounds... such a gifted and dedicated musician.
The best of world! Jordan Rudess!

True . Is there any way to increase the quality of piano sounds
I got this board for its light weight and incredible features and I love it!
Cool! Do you know the name of the lead sounds Jordan was using? Got my mind set on this keyboard right now.
Do you have to buy separate speakers? Can you plug in headphones? I guess so.
Sounds shitty in that vid no power

Agree !
A mi me gusta la manera de tocar de jordan ..
I do the exact same thing when I go to Guitar Center.
Very good
Grazie Jordan che provi mia stessa tastiera 👍
Cuando vi que lo firmaba dije: Chau!! Le sacan como cinco mil dólares mas! 😂
Agora aí e top demais
I think the best sound was of his pen doing the autograph! :P
Really it is really very lightweight
Good
Do those lead sounds come as factory presets? Can you import them to the kross1?
So much hate for the Kross 2 on here lol I love mine.
And it looks like it is only hooked up in mono.
I can see his review n his face
😂
"Really light"
I want that signature on my Korg🏆
Can I ask a question about the keyboard?

@@thomasmason782 yes ,at least it's right for korg triton.and I think it's the same as kross engine.

That's a familiar sound all right...it's pretty much a Mini Moog lead.
and if I'm right, it's also called like Rudess Lead xD

I miss Kevin Moor he was the best keyboarder of dream theater !
What is name the soun of mins 1:43?
It's a lead synth voice
😍❤
the keyboard looks like a "baby" to him. A light keyboard is not always good for playing, you see how he toppled it?
That technique
No doubt he’s a friggin monster player. What sucks to me is you can hear the keys clicking. Kinda takes away from the grandeur of the sounds.
Oh yes..the keys click is annoying !! The sign of a poor quality keyboard perhaps ??? My Roland Fantom FA76 bought in 2001 is better than that crap !!

Even though he is trying really hard to get a good sound out of this machine but the machine still sound very 👎
ever think it has something to do with the equipment it was recorded on?
Taylor Kent yes the sounds of this synth sucks.
well it's not a synthesizer, it's a workstation for >$1000. Listen to the videos where it's recorder properly and it sounds good.
