    Can someone please do a video on scheduling different high and low speeds. Fine ... we know how to configure pump speeds 1,2,3,4 etc. and assign them to a curcuit, but how do you schedule that pump speed!

      Exactly! Still looking for a video of that.

      in the menu go to schedules and add schedules there you should be able to program the different speeds there as well

    This was very helpful!, I've been running my pool in service mode because I could never get this to work, but now I understand it, thanks for the helpful video 👍

    What's needed to be done on the pump though? What mode or program would I put the pump in so that the box always controls it?
    It was helpful to see the screen part. Nothing was discussed about what needs to be done on the pump.

      You hook the communication cable to the side of the drive. If it doesn’t recognize it and say “display not active” on the pump screen then cut the breakers off, wait a minute and then it should connect.

      @@ChlorineKingPoolService Helpful. Thank you for that man. Since his system is brand new, we told him to have the installer or pentair tech look at it. He was also receiving a "No Comm" error as well on the panel.
      Much love to you for taking the time to respond!! I have 46 pools now in Austin, I couldn't be more grateful to work for the guy that I do.

    Great video... Is there a chance to actually remove one of the 8 speeds and only have like 5?

    How do you adjust the _“ramping”_ speed change to “fast, medium, or slow” via EasyTouch?

    All I want to do is run my VSF pump for 4 hours at 3000 RPM and then another 8 hours at 1300 RPM. How can I do that? Know one has a video on that.

    • @ChlorineKingPoolService
      @ChlorineKingPoolService  Před 5 měsíci

      You just have to set up two schedules and apply the speeds to those schedules.

      @@ftz2518 I searched everywhere online and couldn't find this info either, so I called Pentair and spoke to a CSR for about 10 mins. Here is how you do that: You need to assign a separate circuit name for each pool pump speed. So go into settings -> circuit names. If you only want a high and low setting (to program) keep your "pool" circuit as your low (or high, but generally it's kept as low) and then rename "feature 1" to pool high (low if you're doing it the opposite). Now go to your settings -> intelliflo and for your VS(F) pump assign the speed you want for the pool circuit (low speed) and then separately assign the speed you want in a different number (1-8) for the pool high circuit. The in your schedules, you will see pool as a schedule option and (scrolling down) you will see pool high as a scheduling option. Set the low schedule to the one named pool, and your high schedule to the one named pool high. The CSR told me that overlapping schedules will always default to the higher speed. So if you wanted to do low from 8 AM to Noon, High from non to 4 PM, and then back to low from 4 PM to 8 PM, then set two (overlapping schedules). Set your low from 8 AM to 8 PM, and then set your high from noon to 4 PM. Because there is a maximum amount of schedules the easy touch will accept, this is preferable (only 2 schedules) to creating 3 schedules for each of the 3 times, since it saves a schedule slot for something else (so you don't run out). You could apply the same logic to create 3 speeds, using pool low (low speed), pool (medium speed) and pool high (high speed), assigning the pool low and pool high to features 1 and 2 and following the speed and schedule logic as explained above. Keep in mind, that the assigned "pool" circuit name (speed) is the speed you will get when you press the "pool" button on your remote, so make that the speed you want when you manually turn on the pool pump. In your pump settings, you should only have each circuit name showing up once (to one speed). If you have multiple speeds assigned to same circuit name, I believe it uses the highest speed for your schedules assigned to the circuit name. I hope this explanation helps. It's seems to be a very contrived system, but at least it should be able to do what you need it to.

      How do you use the 8 programmed speeds you can set? I have easy touch and screen logic and believe I have to assign a circuit or relay to each speed. I can’t use up all circuits or relays (because I use them for other things bcs) so I only programmed easy touch and screen logic for a high, medium and low (regular filter) speed. I guess what I’m asking is how do you activate all the 8 speeds we can set, as shown in this video?
