STORY
We're venturing off the beaten path into the stunning Italian countryside, where a unique architectural wonder awaits.
This breathtaking villa stands out with its Japanese-inspired design, a fascinating anomaly in the Italian landscape. History buffs have dubbed it the "Japanese Villa," and with good reason!
The owners, Cristina and Alberto, were deeply passionate about Japanese culture. Their love for Japan is evident in every detail, from the stunning artwork to the way they decorated their home. They even expanded their family by adopting two children from Japan.
Rumors swirl about the current state of the villa and the reason for its abandonment. Some whispers suggest Alberto built his fortune in Japan through less-than-savory means.
Another theory claims the family fled Italy over a decade ago due to tax fraud, leaving everything behind. If Cristina and Alberto are still alive, they'd be in their sixties, with their children now in their late thirties or early forties.
The truth may be lost to time. Join us on a captivating journey as we delve into the abandoned villa, searching for clues about this intriguing family and the fascinating story they left behind.

I daydream of touring places like this while I'm working a job I hate ..thanks for letting me view it vicariously.
Same!!
That's why I take screenshots of these places and use them as desktop backgrounds. This way it feels a little bit that I'm exploring even while working.
As someone who loves vintage it's such a shame all these masterpieces are lying abandoned,it almost feels like a crime
I wish someone could show them some love
I guess it will all have to be auctioned off for the taxes.
But stealing them would be more of a crime (':
I'm absolutely fascinated with this Italian mansion ! The interior design consists of an impressive variety of styles, shapes, colours and materials! The chandeliers and the painted cabinets are gorgeous !
Thank you, Lesley and Danny, for this wonderful exploration! I love your excitement and passion for your work!
Take care and enjoy your trip!❤
Thank you for sharing, wish I could own one of those abandoned mansions love those expensive ART WORKS, furnitures so sad.
19.51 It is not a pizza cutter. It is a type of knife for cutting vegetables into small pièces before cooking them. I'm Italian 😊
No 👎
Mezzuluna
si per tagliare prezzemolo ecc.. non sapevo che fosse uno strumento da cucina italiano!
@@jamesdellaneve9005 mezzaluna
I hope that someone buys this gorgeous mansion. There's so must beauty in the home.
you can have for one euro
The tower shower...lol I like it.
Loved the girls Bedroom and the Bathroom. The Bedroom you could make THREE BEDROOMS out of it in a regular house!!!! The Shower was really DIFFERENT, as well as the Tub "ENCLOSURE"!!!! Thanks Guys for taking us along on your Journey!!!!
A shame so many furniture pieces will be ruined over time.
What a shame that this house have been abandond. What a waste, when there are people who are homeless.
I love your videos! I know your brother took very good videos, but I really love Danny,s input he really makes these videos and I really love Danny!
This Mansion looks stunningly beautiful if the entry hall is this gorgeous I'm sure the rest of rooms will be just as beautiful
Lived this house. Surprised that these homes are left with such valuable items. If this was America the place would be ransacked .😢😢 thanks for the tour.
Greetings Lesley and Danny! it is always amazing to see your new videos and lives of these individuals who amassed their fortune through illegal activities. Cannot take wealth with you and God will have His final judgment regardless.
I love the Italian tours. Such ornate mansions and castles.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! THANKS GUYS from east Texas!!! ❤
You guys have done it again, masterfully documentary of a beautiful Italian mansion!! this place is so fantastic it needs to be restored and someone should be living there!!!!
When I see place's like this my imagination just runs wild. It is my dream to buy a old mansion over sea's. Another great video!
Beautiful entrance and staircase. The wallpaper at 29:22 is flocked wallpaper, it has a raised velvety pattern on it. I'd say the top floor was probably reserved for service staff and their children because it's not likely that the lady of the house did the housework and cooking. Overall this is a wonderful house worth saving.
The top floor, I didn't see a bathroom.
Hello everyone, looks like another amazing video from the BEST 😊
Hi, Lesley! Your channel has exploded! How wonderful 😁
Great find ❤
I can’t imagine how much those chandeliers would cost $$$$$ Another great video gentleman ❤️❤️
I can't imagine living in such a beautiful grand house. It's filled with so many incredible murals and furniture, simply amazing. Thanks for taking us along ❤
So gorgeous, once again another beautifull take of wonderfull place. Thanks for sharing with us!
guys the pizza cutter is actually a herb chopper. Japanese design is all about clean lines and no cluttter, which is why it looks like Ikea. The Italian style furniture is very similar to the French.
Those wooden perforated shutters on the windows are just like the ones on Japanese houses.
Definitely stepping it up with this video because this is what you and Danny deserve, the best beauties. thank you
One beautiful abandoned mansion; so beautifully presented. Thank you, Lesley and Danny, the Bros of Decay.

The garden with bridges and path was amazing. A neighbor created a smaller version like this one in her hilly back yard in American suburbia. With fountains and rock·lined pathways it was gorgeous.
Great video. Loved it , from Michigan
Love the head board and the very unique chandelier in the girl's bedroom!
Lesley: “Statue over there”
Me: “No, that looks nothing like me” 😂😂😂😂
The decay of this villa, is older than ten years, the newspaper must have been left by an adventurer, the TV is from 80s-90s, more like 30 years, all that damp damage takes time.
If the family fled the country due to tax fraud then I would assume the government would have seized their home and possessions and sold them at auction to pay the government what it was owed. I’m questioning if that was the real reason they left Italy.
I love Danny & Lesley (hope I spell right - American) Enjoy the architecture you have, please show floors, ceilings, windows & doors hardware. Adore antique kitchens & furniture and etc...🎉
You see so much all the time, please remember we rarely do 😙💗
Well done you two! Incredibly unique building! As always, you two are awesome!
Great to watch your programs, gives some peace of mind. Also very important.
Thank you for filming the interior of this mansion. One has to be careful of rotting floors on so many levels of a home. You both safely made it all the way to the top. Love the vintage furniture and woodwork on the stairs.
Can't wait. Much love from Michigan 🇺🇸💜
I loved the neighborhood and the unique gardens. As always, I would love to see what it all looked like back when it was well cared for. You guys always make these adventures so fascinating. The editing and the music is so beautifully crafted. Thank you guys, you are the best. I look forward to our next adventure!
Wow !! This is very Beautiful Home and Castle !! I love every corner in this home. But i love the part of Dolls room also an office and some clean rooms in second upstrairs!! Its really awesome !! Great to see you in another video !! Success For Leslie and Danny !!
Your video was great. Very interesting . I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much for showing us these wonderful places.
I love the green tiled bathroom and that cool shower tower! The balcony is lovely.
Thank you this tonight you programs,,its beautiful everything..Thanks so much,,Lesley and Danny. Byee, see next time my friends 👋🤗🌹🍃🏛
Woow, Lesley this was an absolutely wonderful explore in this still well preserved grand Italian mansion!! - I was nearly speechless when seeing all the treasures in these beautifully furnished rooms with such a legit time capsule vibe. - I loved the very decorative chandeliers, the grand entrance hall, the beautiful living room, and so on.
Wonderful filming by Danny as always, and again I loved your conversations with him. And - also lovely background music, very well underlining the images of that fascinating location.
Looking forward to your next explore adventure. Wishing you all the best, peace and kindest regards.
i t is not a pizza cutter, it is a mezza luna, a style of knife to chop with both hands
42:05 I want that stunning, pale green, hand-painted piece.
Wow,i fall in love this that house, started fom the bar room till to the top,and some details.I love the turquoise cabinet and much more. And like always,i love you Danny and Lesley❤
Another great place thanks for showing
👍Danny's Spot-On Insights👍
🤔Lesley's Not Quite So Much🤔
Hi Lesley & Danny, 😉 A Beautiful Abandoned Mansion in Italy, but Inside Done like Japan from 2014, Tax Fraud...Sad!!
Was Nice of Danny to See Italy for the First Time, I Loved Seeing This One Too!!😍
If it`s Tax Fraud, the Family Don`t Own It Anymore...So Why Doesn`t the People Who Own Sell It?
I Loved the 5 Chandeliers, Stairway, Cabinets..Especially @ 43:25 the Hand Painted Dresser, Cabinets, Chairs,
Stained Glass, Decayed Piano, & Balcony!! 8 & Possibly 9 Beds, 2 Bathrooms @ 44:30 the Shower in the Tower!!
Thanks Lesley for Narrating & Danny for Filming & also Your Comment on Things!!❤
Take Care & have a Safe Trip to your Next Journey!! ❤ Love Barb from Central Illinois USA❣
ohh una casa fabulosa, llena de detales y muebles con arte. disfruté mucho este video. Como siempre Lesley y Danny son lo mejor de youtube. amo lo que hacen.
This makes me sad everything is left behind
I love all the story you share god bless lesly and danny
The painting over the piano is by George Stubbs called "Mares and Foals in a River Landscape". The original is hanging at Tate Britain museum in London.
Chicos, me ha encatado el lugar. Pero como siempre con vuestras vocalizaciones lo hacen mas hermoso todo. Muchas gracias.❤
I watch all your videos and wanna say keep it up and keep safe
Leslie and deni thanks for your great job.
Can't wait to see this.
Honestly i adore you guys and watch most, if not all of your explorations , but i really wish that you would try a little bit to think logically when looking at things you’re not sure about. The table obviously was meant to be carved into like it was, you just had to look at the matching bench seats under the fabric the same texture was on those. I do enjoy seeing these stunning homes and hearing and wondering about their stories. 🇦🇺💗
I really appreciate Danny's camera work after watching and viewing other urban explorers. His panning, taking time to slow down and show details, and smoothness when walking helps make for a pleasurable viewing experience. The background music was fitting as well in this episode. Leslie is always easy on the eyes and the camera loves him. I appreciate how you both are so kind and respectful to each other as well. Good job guys! I've been watching you for several years now and you are always consistent in your integrity and sincere, growing in knowledge and experience. God bless you both! It'd benefit you to study Art History and architecture. You might find work one day in an auction house like Sotheby's or study Real Estate Law and adverse possession. Have you considered it?
It's concerning that you're not wearing safety masks with so much exposure to toxic molds. Have either of you had any respiratory symptoms or health complications from exposure? Good to see you using gloves. I had black mold in the last place I rented and it affected both my pet and myself adversely.
26:43 Was that a door on the left side under the stairs? Before you went upstairs, was there a bathroom? 43:58 The bathtub is long! What a cool tower shower!
❤This was magnificent! Well built and beautifuly decorated. I loved the master bathroom. The unique design makes me want one similar. Thanks guys for talking me with you on this journey through Italy!×××😂❤
I enjoyed the video so much , I wish one day someone will save this place ❤❤ it's really amazing and beautiful 😍❤️ thank yoy Danny and Lesley 💐💖 for sharing such a beautiful ❤️ place 🎉🎉
It was beautiful ❤️❤️. Hello Danny
I think the top floor was intended for servants quarters. Also, those “phones” in each room, next to the beds etc. are intercoms not telephones.
que lugar es hermoso fascinante su paisaje y todo lo de la mansión es un sueño desde Colombia un abrazo me encanta tus videos me transportan a esos tiempos
Thanks that was awesome place I enjoyed watching
Too many people push the envelope and crime happens so fast you don't relize it happens then the Law comes in you asking why ?then you are in handcuffs. Money is the root to destroy minds and Businesses. My Grandpa came from Italy so i love how they were making a design by hands. Love you to Leslie and Danny take care yes i watched all the adds this time :). Your friend Barbie & Sam NWP, FL USA baby Awesome showcase this home is so beautiful i was going to ask you to get a sweeper to the staircase.
Omg what a beautiful house! The most fascinating thing is the tower shower! 😍😍😍😍😍👌
Очень познавательные и интересные ваши видео👍👍👍
💡Danny's Insights Are Excellent💡
He always has to put Lesley's comments down and it irritates me.
Mrs H 🇬🇧 ... I've been away from the internet for a while & I have a lot of catching up to do & I have missed my favourite channels like yours but now I'm back & back feeling healthy...❤💋
The velvet fabric on the walls and chair is from Damascus and it is called the damascus
Great video
Such a beautiful house! So many chandeliers, which is actually pronounced like shandelier, to improve the sound of your English. Wonderful job, fascinating!
I jdon't understand how affluent people who encounter hard times will abandon so many valuable items. They must not have estate sales in Italy. Or people who salvage for a percentage. Or avid antique hunters. Crazy. Love your videos, tho. Thanks bros.
Beautiful place and unexpected for an italian house
Wonder why family lefted so quickly
Thank you for sharing this house
See you in next video
Bros of Decay awesome Abandoned Manson, I enjoy it all your show me
What a beautiful mansion. An amazing architecture. What a wonderful place. Like in dream
What a beautiful mansion! Those upstairs bedrooms do seem like they are not a part of the rest of the house. There were some doors that you didn't open. Like the one by thst grand beautiful staircase. Thanks for taking me to Italy ❤.
Yes, that is the right story. I have seen this house from other explorers already.
👌👍
Incredible ❤
Belle exploration
Que lindo, espaçoso e muito bem decorado.
Amo vê os seus vídeos ❤
I so wish there was a way to rescue and restore some of the furniture we see in these homes. It's exquisite stuff and they really do not make them like they used to.
very cool gentlemen
blessings
Great video. It appears to me it might have been abandoned more then 10 years ago The TV is like from 30 years ago.
What is the music that is playing in the background? Is there a music list? I love it... it's so fitting for your video!
Love the front entrance way and the Chandler ❤
😲OMG TRULY GORGEOUS AND I WOULD SERIOUSLY LOVE TO OWN SOME OF THESE BEAUTIFUL THINGS.🌺
It was hard to tell but it looks like the floors were all hardwood in a herringbone pattern. The water damage is probably from a burst pipe rather than a leaking roof. So sad they sawed a giant piece right off the grand staircase carving.
do so like this channel it should be shown on television as a series..
Beautiful paintings. Wonderful furniture. Everything of lux. Too much money. How could everything was abandoned like that?
Excelente vídeo. La vida nos enseña que nada trajimos al mundo y nada nos llevaremos. Saludos desde Santiago de Chile
I will always wonder what was through the door under the stairs
I asked that too.
Bellissima esplorazione decorazioni meravigliosi ..il bagno è stupendo ..
Il taglia pizze è una mezzaluna per tritare verdure😊
L' Italia è ricca di storia palazzi e monumenti ..
Grazie Lesley e Danny siete meravigliosi 💪💪💪💪🍀🍀🌹
Good Morning Sir
thank you very much for video Nice day
❤❤❤Какие красивые вещи, мебель, и.т.д, пересматриваю по два раза, почему это всё не возьмут в хорошие руки, всё же пропадёт без ухода💕🌷💜
must have been abandoned in the 80s'. look at those TVs...those were gone from italian homes by the late 90s.
Very nice!
The document in Italian at 15:13 is a formal declaration of weapons and ammunition owned by the person signing the document. Pretty strange
