Looking at the comments on here honestly disappoint me. This is a great looking bike the way the lines roll around the bike makes it amazing, not to mention a smaller headlight size which looks better then the older ones. I don't understand why people are giving it so much hate. Just because other people "Dont like gixxers" or because they claim everyone who rides them are squids should really grow a pair and get over what other people think and why shouldn't gravitate towards buying a phenomenal bike.
I think the head light looks bad ass.

I hope the gsxr retains its customary low end grunt, that's what has always made them great bikes for the average rider.
Give me back integrated turn signals + better colors and you guys would have nailed it. Yes the exhaust is atrocious, but most people like choosing their exhausts from aftermarket companies anyway.
Wonder why they didn't at least make an accessory option exhaust with Akra or Yoshi and debut the bike with one on

WOW! The Can looks like the Shuttle or a missile launcher. Other than that good looking bike but would hate to have to pay so much for a new bike knowing I would have to replace the Can.

If I were to buy a new bike the last thing I would want to have to change is the exhaust. 1) Suspension 2) ECU flash and tune... Done. That exhaust is hideous.
Umm.A good tune goes hand in hand with a better exhaust.Changing air fuel ratio necessitates it.

That's what I'm saying.... even the 600s had signals in mirrors which most other brands you had to get a 1000 for that feature. Now they killed the signal in mirrior all together? That's a deal breaker for me honestly.
So that taking off the mirrors on the track becomes easier.

I say you're the real fanboy if you can say this bike doesn't look aged... Suzuki is a great performer, and rides butter smooth, but compared to other bikes today it looks like it hasn't changed.

riders gonna replace the exhaust anyway. so why waste time on the muffler? its better to spend on the engine and keep the price affortable so ppl could actually buy that bike.
They have to comply with the new laws. Without this hideous looking muffler they won't even be allowed to release the bike on public. But like what is said before, its easy to just change it.

sadly,people can't understand this common thing,most of them are cry babies,always complaining about something,some of them are blind fanboys also,accept the reality,suzuki is not fool.There is a purpose for that design which you are unable to understand and judging it before someone has rode it,this looks fab to me,just go have a look of it in flesh,may be this could have the best aerodynamic in its class with that design,just accept,everything is beautiful in its own way,and that exhaust-its functionality over form.

2017 a lot of new changes to the major brands hopefully some genius will think to put a freaking fuel gauge on these liter bikes doesn't make sense to open up your tank to look and see what you have or stop and get gas every hour or wait until the light turns on....
They could be used in stealth combat with those humongous exhuasts.
I don't think the RR is of the same caliber of the R1m... they should definitely undercut it in price and good for them

this isn't the finished model. the lights are LEDs not those horrible bulbs.
yeah the turn indicators are terrible why move away from the clean mirror mounted turn indicators for that , idk. will be problematic if you want to remove them. my one gripe
Pvk Jhilk the ones on the actual model are still in the same place just LEDs, I'm very surprised to see them come off the mirrors. just more work for those track enthusiasts and something else to replace if you put it down.

the previous styling design team of suzuki had the worse design line up. look at the gladius lol. and the previous gsxr too. now they have new styling team. thank god. the 2017 bikes are looking much much better. - from a designer stand point.

I'm a Suzuki guy (and Honda guy-2014 interceptor 800 v4) but I have to agree this bike is not that pretty and I have a 2016 Suzuki gsx-s1000 naked that I love!!!! But I think Hondas new cbr 1000 is way better looking and think Honda got it right😉

When I first got into motorcycles back in 2008. The Gixxer were the bikes to have. Fir the past 5 years, Suzuki design really sucks!

This has to be the ugliest out of all the 1000cc superbikes at the moment. Its a shame considering that their motogp bike is in my opinion the best looking bike on the grid this year.

RDX GAMING NETWORK it depends on who is looking at it. But im pretty sure that a lot of people will agree with me that this bike looks ugly as hell. That headlight is hideous and the body shape is the same as the old gixxer and just isnt as sharp as the competition.

It's a really stupid thing to comment if you take into consideration that 90% of bike owner's swap out the exhaust as the 1st mod. It's for euro 4 emissions so I don't get why you're whining when a "prettier" stock exhaust would only add to the cost of the bike
Who's whining , other than you cause you saw a comment that annoyed you . Guess what if they put it on their for emissions reasons, when you change it out to something "pretty" , and live in a state in the us that does emissions testing, it may not pass.. bottom line it's an ugly part, and they could have designed it better. It also would not have cost that much to do as it would be mass produced, so it ends up being cheaper. Therefore your argument of a higher expense is invalid.
