I’m 57 and still recall receiving my first Barbie around age 6, later, a Ken doll, the little sister “Janet” (?), and assorted other Barbies , furniture and automobiles. I received these gifts once or twice a year. Priceless memories. I experienced so much joy playing with these dolls, making clothing and creating pretend lives for them.
