- Took a trip to Walmart recently to check out what they had in stock. They had a real good number of various sets from different brands, but I only came back with a small haul. But hey, better than coming back home with nothing right?

Wow your Wallmart has more puzzles than an average Dutch XXL toystore! 😂 And so many fun ones too!
Here in the Netherlands grocery stores dont sell puzzles, they are only sold in toy stores and there are a few puzzle stores, but I mostly buy puzzles online.
Oh wow! It's interesting, we don't really have toy stores in the US like we used to anymore. A lot of them went out of business, which really sucked.
I've done the Mystic Maze one! It was a delight although it does make you puzzled for a bit.
Oh boy, I'm puzzled enough as it is 😂 I did wonder about this after reading the back of the box, so thank you for confirming that I'm going to have to pay extra attention to what I'm supposed to actually do.
I’m so glad that you got the magic puzzle company puzzle. If you didn’t, I was going to tell you you had to get back in your car and drive to Walmart! I loved it so much. Mine was called the gnomes home, very adorable. I can’t wait to see your video about it.

your walmart had so many more puzzles and puzzle brands than ours. We mainly just have the buffalo games ones at ours.
Wow, really? Hopefully your location starts expanding the selection. I'm starting to see more glimpses of Ravensburger sets at my locations, which was unheard of before.

The Walmart I Go to Has a Bunch of Variety, Barnes & Nobles are so Pricey!!!!
I think my closest Barnes & Nobles is about 50 minutes away. I haven't been inside one in the longest, but I can imagine them being very pricey. Hopefully the next time I'm in that area, I'll check it out.

Thanksgiving could’ve been better. I got sick with Covid, but still was able to enjoy some dinner that was sent to me 😁
I just recently finished The Puzzled Patron from Magic Puzzle Company. The pieces were good quality with a nice matte finish, but very loose fitting. I did not enjoy the experience due to the very busy image as well as some of the super odd shaped pieces. I realized, from doing Karen Puzzles' Gradient Cascade puzzle, that I prefer regular piece shapes, but that's entirely personal preference! I can still see how people find Magic Puzzles to be a lot of fun because they are different from the usual. They also have that "secret" part at the end that is very unique. One aspect that I did really like is how there was kind of an incentive to pass the puzzle on and let someone else do it (you'll see when you open the box). I did take mine to a donation shop once I finished and I hope whoever does it next does the same so that even more people can sign and date it when they complete it!
Overall, I personally won't be doing another Magic Puzzle, but I'm glad I did get to try one!
Oh boy, I'm not sure how I'm going to think to the loose fitting, but I am really looking forward to the whole experience. I just really hope I follow along with it properly and that I don't screw it up. I kinda already got lost with everything it was explaining in the back of the box. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

I've gotten quite a few puzzles from Walmart. My Walmart has about the same amount of puzzle brands. I've bought several of the puzzles you showed, plus the sorting trays.

I feel like WM is a great place to puzzle shop, especially since they are not very expensive. I also like how they've been bringing in more puzzle accessories as well. Happy puzzling!
I have done one from the Magic Puzzle Co.
The one I did wasn't exactly easy. The mystery at the end is very creative and fun, though there were a few areas where pieces didn't "snap" together, but butted up against each other so I'd have to fuss with those areas a bit, if you know what I mean.
Glad I tried it, but not sure I'd do another.

It's funny to see how so many stores have already started their Black Friday sales. They just want us to spend our money all month long LOL. I don't know if I should do Black Friday shopping though, I have so many sets I need to get through 😂

the mystic maze by magic puzzle company is probably my favorite puzzle i've done. the HQ image is the background on my laptop - i love it! advice though: i have the same puzzle table as you and i highly recommend NOT doing it on your puzzle table. i dont want to tell you too much but you should do it on a more slippery surface. i did mine on the puzzle table and very very much regretted it at the end. i was able to make it work, but save yourself the trouble that i had!!

I have done 3 puzzles from the Magic Puzzle company, though not the one you got. I enjoyed them and one thing I will say is that you might want to make sure that you do them on a larger-than-usual puzzle board or table.

i went to a couple walmarts a few days ago and found a few puzzles. that’s what you do when you get the deposit back from your last place right? 🤦♀️🤷♀️
i too found a rose art color luxe called tales of whales. also 2 kodak puzzles- one is a rose art and one is crazart. i’m curious to see if there will be quality differences between all 3. the kodak rose art is also my first ever color gradient puzzle.
i also got a master pieces glow in the dark puzzle, and a 1500 piece buffalo games called windows open to the world. i’ve not seen one quite like that, i thought it was cool.
i’ve actually done yard sale (recently). it was challenging because it’s SO busy, but still fun. i also have the aimee stewart beach puzzle you admired, but in 2000 piece version. i got it at a used book store a few months ago. hoping it has all the pieces. i’m saving that one for spring i think.
It's ok, sometimes we can't help but use the extra cash to pick up a few sets 💸💸💸
I'm still on the hunt for a Kodak puzzle that calls out to me. That seems to be a brand that I really struggle with in terms of images. Aimee Stewart has so many fun and colorful images, but yes they look super challenging when the image is busy. I need to pick up more of her sets.
Your Walmart has a much better selection than mine, but I've seen a lot of the same ones that you had. I'm so glad you bought the Magic Puzzle Company puzzle! I really want to know your thoughts on it!

What a great selection to choose from. Walmart doesn't exist in Australia. The closest we would have is Target which is closing down, Australia-wide. We do have K-mart which is sort of similar. CostCo is small in Oz and there is one in the city i am moving to in Serbia yet not even sure what CostCo sells as never been or looked at it, online. There are heaps of game shops locally and in Serbia so wont be short of supply 🙂
Interesting, I didn't know Costco was worldwide. Here it sells everything in bulk like food and household supplies. They even sell clothes, books, kinda everything really. I don't think we have Kmarts anymore in the US, and if so only a handful of them. I'm not sure if it'll be in Serbia, but I hear that Costco sells Dowdle puzzles.
@@thepuzzledmandy Havent u heard of CostCo's mantra.....I've been everywhere man lol Kmart here pretty much sux as did Target...cheap garbage yet ok for short term items. Once i move to Serbia, i'll let you know what their CostCo sells and prices for entry to Disneyland in Paris.... lol....I'm in my usual playful and teasing mood. 🙂
@@erniesulovic4734 Oh I remember Kmart being absolute garbage here too LOL. I'm pretty sure our Costco's here and other similar bulk stores sell discounted entry tickets to Disney Parks and other discounted trips...I need a vacation...😅
@@thepuzzledmandy Yeah, Kmart can be okay for short term items yet not for quality stuff. I had a week off, on annual leave, 2 weeks ago and no where near enuf even tho i do nothing all day (still)......i havent done much with my biz either these last few months. I really need to get head down, bum up and focus for a while.......and then my relaxation are gone once i move cos then i'll be really busy..... 🙂
I bought a magic puzzle too, but I haven't done it yet, holiday crafting has distracted me.

You are the only other person I know of who agrees with me about too many dogs on jigsaw puzzle pictures.
🤣Honestly, I'm really not into animal images. Not that I don't like animals, I just don't want to work on images that make me think of pet hair, noise, and picking up 💩
Magic Puzzles are one of my favorite brands! My one critic would be that they dont stick together well because they're fun shapes rather than tradition pieces. I hope you enjoy it!
They are super crumbly which kind of goes against the moving sections around part.
@@tvmom yes, I do my puzzles on my puzzle board and can't slide it around well at all 😭

@@thepuzzledmandy It's impossible to mess up, but do keep in mind how crumbly it is if you have to move anything. I learned from experience.

I did the Buffalo “Crayola Colors” puzzle and put it on discord. It is fun and relaxing. I love how you own so many houses and take us there for a minute😂 I just bought last week at Walmart the same Magic puzzle company “The Forest feast” puzzle too😊🧩❤️

My Wal-Mart has a smaller puzzle section and I don't think any of the same pictures.
Hopefully your WM will start to expand their collection at some point. I find it interesting how they don't have a set standard as to how many puzzles they carry in stock in all locations, but then again, it could be dependent on the demand.
Wow...that is sooo not my WM! Meaning there is very little.
The location in this video is a little farther from where I live, I have another spot closer to me. Now I'm trying to think which one of the two has a better selection. Hopefully one day your WM will expand their selection.
Delaware walmarts dont have a huge selection like your Walmart has🎉
It really is a hit or miss. The Walmart closest to me has a really big selection, but my second closest location is not great.
The Cardinal multi sets are some of the worst quality pizzles ive ever done
Yea, I feel like multi sets in general, at least the ones I've tried, always tend to have low quality. I guess you're paying more the variety in the pack instead of the quality.
