Man I feel old. But I'm only 26. Still, this brings back memories of my PS3 era. Definitely those days when you could just sit down and play with your friends especially Takken and Metal Slug. Good old days of childhood.

I'm 22 and feel old. I remember the PS4 launch here in Brazil - launched for $1815. Now it goes for around $300 (1tb slim model). So I finally own one.
Had it for 5+ years, runs games like the Uncharted series and TLoU really well. We bought it used because it was a cheap option. Love it.

This was my first console I had. When I was 9 for Christmas my dad and step mom surprised me with some game but it was for the PS4 and me and my step bro had an Xbox.
My dad apologized and said we'd return it and get and Xbox version. Later that day my dad yelled to get into the living room right now!! He said it angrily so I thought I was in trouble, when I got there he was standing with PS4 in his arms and told me it was all mine and to have at it. I remember me and my step bro were overjoyed and stayed up all night playing the game together, him on Xbox and me on my new PS4 slim.
I’ve had my PS4 Slim since 2018 and I have really been enjoying it a lot and I don’t plan on getting a PS5 cause all I wanted this generation really is the Series X and now I’ve got one, I’m thinking about upgrading my Slim to a PS4 Pro since I just got a tv and it only has one HDMI 2.1 port and the PS5 needs HDMI 2.1. So I’m really thinking about getting a PS4 Pro and now that Sony has said that they will support it until 2025 I think I’ll be fine be fine because there really isn’t that much to play on the PS5 (at least right now and I know more games are coming) but I’ve seen several videos on the PS4 and what’s coming out for it in 2022 and beyond and it isn’t looking too bad for us PS4 gamers at all, I know the PS5 will have some really good games too but us PS4 gamers will be really happy too especially if you have a PS4 Pro.

I got a series S for my main gaming, but I really want to pick up a PS4 slim for those awesome Sony exclusives.. looking at you GOW Ragnarok.
The reason your ps4 is a bit loud is because you have one of the later model slims how i know this is because your slim is a darker black and the older slims are more of a lighter black/grey sony cheaped out on the later ps4 slims they even changed the disc drive they started changing them around late 2018 as sony knew basically everyone who wanted a ps4 already had one. So to save money on the consoles production sony used different disc drive etc explaining the noise being louder (mostly a hum) its still playable though. it was the same situation on some later ps3s
Not true I bout one December 2019 it had 3 game bundle included. God of war, Last of us remastered and Horizon dawn. It sounds as quiet as my uncles who bought his in late 2016 so no.

Pathetic next gen games were released.. All they had was look, my shadows are nicer than my older brother ps4
I don't know, maybe I'll still buy the ps5 slim
But for now, I still plan on skipping to ps6 all together

Thats great Resident Evil 4 Remake os also now coming to the PS4. I have both the PS4 Slim and PS5 but I’m glad all you guys can still enjoy newer games 👍🏻.
I was looking at getting a slim model to play a handful of my ps4 games. But the ps4 refurbished I seen some horror stories about this system and bugs. I’m looking at it new
my ps4 which I bought in 2016 is not that loud. Its just if its in a hot environment like in our country during summer at room temp I observe it is loud but when I play it on a cooler environment like when you are in an air conditioned room it is quiet.
I just ordered a ps4 off ebay so im waiting til it get here, i haven't owned one since 2018 so I'll be lucky when i get it
Just bought a new one since I’ve never had a ps4 and I have every other console. Also it’s the last batch of new ones being made so I wanted a new one while I could get it
going to be doing the same thing tomorrow, didn't even know they still sold the PS4 in store
I’m still using my original PS4 was gonna get myself PS5 this Christmas, but I realized they still making PS4 games for the PlayStation 4, I changed my mind I’m not gonna stress on upgrading to ps5 till 2025 or wait till they stop making ps4 games and I will transition to the PlayStation 5.

I found someone who was offering $200 for his (1TB PS4 Slim), and someone-else who was offering theirs for $190 (again 1TB PS4 Slim), and another who was offering theirs for $175 (again 1TB PS4 Slim); all claimed to have bought it brand-new, from a local retail-store that is authorized-retailer for Sony stuff. (Not the same local retail-store though; 3 different store-chains).
I’m not picky and I’m not greedy; I had offered each of them $150 for their console (none of them know I was talking to others about possibly-purchasing their console).
Should I have offered $140 or something *less* than $150 (eg. $135. $130. $125. $120. $115. $110. $105. $100) ?

@@mirash_7747 100 percent worth it. Most of the ps exclusives are some of the best games I've ever played. That's just my opinion tho. My favorite ps exclusive has to be spiderman

If you dont want to drop 400+€ or dollars for ps5, then best thing to do is buy a used ps4. The Pro console, if you can find it for a good prize, if not, then pay max 200 for a slim, even better if it comes with controllers and games.

@@ben-tol I haven't owned a pro console, but yeah, apparently the 71 and 72 (which is more quieter but runs hotter) are better choices for sure compared to the launch m and its first revision, if you're trying to get the least noisiest system.
