    Every time I see you clean a hairline I feel like switching from a 0.03mm skin system to lace! Unbelievably realistic.

      as long as the lace hairline is created properly, knots, hair direction, graduation, lace colour etc.... then lace wins every time for me...otherwise i too would be wearing a 0.03 skin

    How would you go about cleaning hair line when using tapes? Ive always been told to use tape on front lace and white glue on the rest as its poly.
    Learned loads just on this video, even from not using wax, my stylist always puts wax and hairspray to style my hair when i have a new system put on! So ive just followed their advice 🤷‍♂️

    @mg ford got a few questions. I'm currently spending about $285 a month for my hair piece. I've been doing this since, I think, 2015. I'm 28 now. But this is a thick lace so the hair line cant be used. I'm thinking of getting back into modeling and acting but I need do some research if I'm going to leave my hair replacement membership.
    1. How much does the hair piece, clue, maintenance chemicals cost, how much would that come to per month?
    2. You and some other people have had your hair line from your system pretty high up on the scalp. Is that because of the, lets call them, forehead lines that move when moving your eyebrows? As in you don't want the edge of the system to be on the part of the skin that moves a lot? I ask this because I have a pretty large forehead (lol) and my natural hair line has always been pretty far back. So I would like to scoot my hair system forward so that way I can do a slick back look that I can't currently do with my current system.
    3. How often is the front line clean up, and full head clean up? Right now I replace the front stickers every week, clean under the lace and stick new stickers on. And every 6 weeks I go to my club and they remove the entire system and recolor and redo the entire scalp and cut my natural hair. I usually go about 6 to 8 months with a system until I replace it.
    4. How quickly does the hair loose it's color, and do you re-color it yourself?
    I know that's a lot. lol. I'm just now looking into better hairline systems and the DYI method of hair. But I'm a bit scared to switch from a hair club to DYI. Thanks man!

      il put answers below next to your questions buddy
      . How much does the hair piece, clue, maintenance chemicals cost, how much would that come to per month? SO SYSTEMS CAN LAST 6 MONTHS EACH AT £415 ..PRODUCTS AROUND £100 PER YEAR
      2. You and some other people have had your hair line from your system pretty high up on the scalp. Is that because of the, lets call them, forehead lines that move when moving your eyebrows? As in you don't want the edge of the system to be on the part of the skin that moves a lot? So I would like to scoot my hair system forward so that way I can do a slick back look that I can't currently do with my current system. FOREHEAD LINES CORRECT CAN CAUSE PREMATURE LIFT AT THE FRONT .

And every 6 weeks I go to my club and they remove the entire system and recolor and redo the entire scalp and cut my natural hair. I usually go about 6 to 8 months with a system until I replace it. DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN CHEMISTRY AND LIFESTYLE AVERAGE HAIRLINE ONCE A WEEK FULL CLEAN AVERAGE 4 WEEKS
      4. How quickly does the hair loose it's color, and do you re-color it yourself? DEPENDS ON SUN EXPOSURE THERE ARE SOME PRETTY GOOD USER FRIENDLY COLOUR CONDITIONERS OUT THERE

    In trying to learn more about hair systems I have to ask: The 'dirty' line in front of the hairline appeared to be beyond the hair unit perimeter about 1/4 inch onto the scalp (away from the unit). Why not just simply clean up the dirty line? Or does the lace system protrude out onto the forehead more than it looks when you lift it? Thanks. Enjoy and subscribed to your channel.

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  Před 3 lety +2

      the dirty line was actually the lace edge which is the graduated hairline...and so only way to clean is to lift and do it the way I did in the video...that said, sometimes you can if its not too strong a dark line use a wet wipe to save you lifting the whole front :)
