To great hair!
Andrew
I don’t use any solvent remover on my hair system to clean it. I simply submerge it in a bowl filled with lukewarm water mixed with hair conditioner. I let it sit in that bowl for 15 minutes then I rinse well with cool water and dry. The glue or tape can easily be removed then.
This has been very useful, thank you so much 😊
This is really helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Have a face towel set aside specifically for cleaning your scalp just wash it after every use.
Awesome video! 👍 Thank you for doing this 😃
I get a kick of how you call the paper towels a kitchen roll. At first I wondered what a kitchen roll was. Lol. Also your accent. Nice arms too
Very good video
Sure seems like a lot of trouble. And the hair system lasts how long?
Great video man. How old was this system as when you made this vid?
Using cotton is very helpful to clean it ✅️
Thanks for this video! Can you kindly share with us what you know about any toxic ingredients (such as toluene) of tape by whether Walker or Supertape? Any health concern?
Hey, what is the washing up liquid you are using, please?
Hi!
Did you cut the size of the system yourself or someone did it for you?
Andrew can you tell me please how you deal with dirty hair line from the glue below please?
I've recently started just putting tape towards the very front of the hairline instead of glue. I found that the glue tends to roll into balls and is messy to get out of the hair. Looks amazing when first done for a day or two but with sweating/getting wet in shower it soon gets messy. Tape is much better I find.
What was the base size of your hair system and did you cut the base of the system to your shape? And if not, how did you make it so it fits perfectly to your head? I just ordered my first system and that step is the one that worries me the most since there are no hair salons anywhere around me who have experience with systems so I have to do it myself.
HairToHell hey! The standard 8x6inch. Just shave a bit, then put it in your head. Then shave more if needed. Just trial and error till it’s right :)
The base of the hairsystem wasn’t cut by me, no
Can you apply shampoo on toupee i did it one time and it got tangled
I think using dish washing liquid is very harsh on the hair and fade the color faster.
you are very cute and your hair system is very realistic.
Andrew, ty great video. I learn a lot from your process especially using dish detergent to clean scalp and hair system. Overall are you happy with Lordhair quality? How often do you shampoo? On the off shampoo day how do you maintain to keep hair looks great? Thx
Glad it was helpful! I just use their original shampoo and conditioner 💪
Ooff doing this every week is tough. This process took about 2 hours?
It's fairly quick when you get the hang of it. About half hour or so
@@TheAndrewmcgrath you can do this that you demonstrate in the video in half an hour? I don’t buy it. Just waiting for the glue to dry is probably like 5 minutes. I saw in another comment that you switched to tape. I’ll believe the 30 minute thjgn then.
how many units per year ????
Hey! I have only been wearing them since march so I couldn't answer this yet sorry. They last very well if you look after them and are not rough with them.
How many units per year?
A wearer for almost 40 years. love how you younger guys say (kinda do this kinda do that). YOU EITHER DO IT OR YOU DON'T. There is no kinda.
Why do wig makers insist on calling their product a "hair system?" This sounds pretentious. Why not just call it what it is-- a wig? There's no shame in wearing a wig, though there are bad wigs as well as good.
A wig is very different from a men’s hair system. Educate yourself
@@SkankHunt3000 Calling a wig a "hair system" is like calling soap a "skin cleanser"-- a marketing ploy. There are various techniques employed in wig making, some more realistic looking than others-- but they're still just wigs.
@@SkankHunt3000 A "hair system" is just a wig with a fancy base that glues directly to your bare pate.
