    I apologise for all the comments that I have said about Southgate and the players over the last couple of weeks with different podcasts that I've committed on. He has now found a system to play with these world class players. We as a country should now believe in Southgate and the players to bring it home for us on Sunday. I have 100% faith in the squad now. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. (P.S.) come on England.

      But the frustration is that if palmer and watkins were starting over kane and foden. We'd have better balance in the team. But he won't, his ass idea of starting trent in first games too was ridiculous and failed. The players we have, we should be playing better and create more chances. Personally, I think he's a poor coach and been lucky with the teams we've played.

    • @allbies
      @allbies Před 20 dny +2

      @@yoyoyo3531 This is why you're not a football manager. To say you didn't want Foden starting after his performances the last two games when he's actually been placed in his proper position is just straight hater energy. Kane has definitely been off pace even though service has been lacking but I can sympathise with wanting to start Watkins or Toney instead, but Foden? Hell no. If anything Bellingham should be the one making way out of our current midfielders and the way they're playing. Jude just isn't nimble enough in the pockets and in tight spaces. Time will tell Bellinghams best positon will be deeper and striding forward during his career.

      I'm Australian, but I support England in any international game as long as it's not against Australia. It's not about whether the football they play is good or not. In a cup tournament, you have a chance to win your first international tournament in 58 years, something no England manager has managed besides one. And yet, some want to sack him because the football is "bad"? If England wins, it would be the greatest success the nation has had, but you still say sack him. If England went into the next World Cup, played great football, but got knocked out in the group stages, what's more successful: playing poorly and winning or playing well and going home as losers?

      Weak link lol. He won a penalty and scored it. Won the game vs Slovakia as well. Tied first as top goal scorer in euros. Go complain about something else cause the guy is doing what he is supposed to, wich is scoring goals and leading the team.

      @IbraVibraPippo some would argue we might not be needing to be finding late winners if we had a striker with more movement. More movement up top would unsettled defences and create more space for other players. Kane right now could never score the goal Watkins did because he won't make the run. These kind of passes could be made from the start if we had a striker with mobility.

      @@IbraVibraPippo Pure luck, he's been shit for years. To slow and lethargic for international football. If we'd have dropped Kane we'd probably have won all these games easily.

      @@thetruth6417 Luck? Englands top goal scorer of all times. Reality doesn't deal in woulda coulda shoulda scenarios. There is no evidence you'd be winning games easier if Watkins had started. You change one player and suddenly some magic will happen where you beat Slovakia and Switzerland 3-0?How the hell do you know that. Lets flip it, maybe if Watkins started he wouldn't be able to take advantage of tired legs and spaces being so open. Then maybe Kane would come on and do well too? Who knows. Fact is Kane is starting, and he is being impactful. We can go about these made up scenarios all day. Fact is he has scored in 3 of 6 games, all 3 goals being very impactful and decisive to the outcome of the games. He is doing what he is supposed to do as a striker. Watkins is perfect to bring on and maybe that's exactly what he is suited to do, there is nothing wrong with that.

    Saka handball twice which led up to the penalty. It is so symptomatic that england is in the finals. Look at Spain they beaten Germany France,Crotia, Italy. England by sheer luck. Why the hell do we need VAR for if you cant detect a clear handball 3 sec before Kanes volley. Where is the justice in that. VAR was meant to take all uncertainties out of the game now it destroys the game. Use VAR for checking goalline checks only.

      Anywhere else on the pitch it's a foul & yellow card. The ball had gone & he left his foot in, studs first. Holland would've took it had they had it. Lady luck was with us, but overall, England were better, we don't care, bring on the Spanish as good as they are, on our day we are better.🦁🦁🦁

      Handball on Saka twice!! VAR didn't pick it up. Ha, ha..coming home no way. Spain beaten germany, Italy, France, Crotia. And England nearly lost Denmark game. Kane is a bad omen. He never wins. 1st season in Bayern and they cant win the championship. Better off at Tottenham. Could have been legendary as Matthew Le Tissier whom never left Southampton and made 47 penalties out of 48. Now we are talking player!

      I know ur point... but ironically that is the exact reason England got the penalty. As the contact was done regardless of Kane's shot, Dumfries purely harmed Kane on purpose. It differs how the VAR and the main referee interpret the occasion.
