- connect the clear click to the camera via AV cables and power it via a power bank(i used one with 500000mah). I also used a soft light panel for better lighting connected to a neewer cold shoe mount adapter to hold it all in place. Make sure to use double sided tape to hold they power bank and clear click in place(i used clear gorilla double sided tape). I’ll link everything i used below.

What’s the size of your fish eye lens? For the Gl2

Thank you! I left the clearclick on default settings and all i did was tun on the ND filter on the camera when i was outside, so nothing too crazy

How did you get the sound to be so good? On my Grabstar PRO dnt, twice as expensive, the sound was terrible. There are also no audio resolution settings. So, how did you manage to make it sound so good?
what do you do to not have any of the standby information displaying in the upper right?
clean. But i have one question would a ion 2 sd work on the gl2. Cause I have a ion 2 sd for my sony dcr trv 17 and sometimes it would output laggy footage and the audio would bug out.
It should work but not well. I’ve looked into the ion 2 and a lot of the common issues are frame rate related which will lead to that laggy footage.

is it normal for it to make a really loud hissing noise? i bought everything and plugged it into the power pack and as soon as i did it starts to make this really gnarly hissing noise

Do you need a tape in the gl2 to record period? Or once you install the clear click does it allow footage to be uploaded directly to the SD card?

so youre clicking start and stop recording on the clearclick every time? its in a bit of an awkward to reach spot.
When im recording i usually have it at a low angle so it doesnt feel too weird
can i run all this with a gl1
you shouldnt have a problem as long has you have a av out connection
