This model 1 is essentially the same chip as a model 2 from 1992 that would come with Sonic 2 game cartridge. Yes the model 2 did output stereo sound as well at least the early production Sonic 2 ones did from later 1992 to early 1994. Later model 2s I think it wasn't an option anymore when they really cheapened those out.

The Sega Genesis is what I got because my mother and father got me rhat for my birthday. I got a nice model 2 genesis and it actually came with Mr and Mrs pacman. For Christmas I got all three of the sonic games. I can look for the 6 button controller online to order it with my dad. And 4 extra games the goes with the controller my good man. Thank you:)

Those are the 6 button controllers. They came out later in the Genesis's lifespan for fighting games. A stock Genesis only comes with the 3 button controller since those are the original controller.

Later I got myself the games again but that SONIC 1 was the one with the white box, which is a collector's item of course as well. For some reason I still have the *MASTER SYSTEM* console though, and the *Alex Kid* game still works.

Nope it is poop, horrible sound, not compatible with lock-on, 32x and Sega CD, and the design sucks, better buying a real Genesis, even the model 2 has a better sound than this AtGames trash
1.rip toys r us 2. Don't get at games. Its actually trash it uses wireless controllers so its easily lost and if a single Lego block gets in the way of the light on the top of the controller then it will not work
that little vga port your talking about that not on the back of your sega was for a modem to play online.. hint dreamcast was not the first system to go online
You're talking about the 6 button controller, the redesign of that controller in the video (3 button controller) mostly used in Genesis Model 1. These that you are talking about are controllers used in Model 2, but you can also use in Model 1 too
