Well since Sonic Lost World Amy's more capable of controling her feelings for Sonic in the latest games (one of the few, if not the only good thing coming out from that game), and Sonic Boom's portrayal of Amy has been influencing her character in other media: The IDW comics showed us an Amy that has matured after the events of Sonic Forces becoming a leader after Knuckles had to resume his role as guardian of the Master Emerald after recovering it from Neo Metal Sonic, who temporally took control of Angel Island. And then we have Team Sonic Racing from last year where Amy shows a more competitive side towards Sonic and his team while focusing on helping hers to win the races.
