A mum has captured her hearing with her cochlear implant for the first time, in a heartwarming video captured by her husband, Brian.
Holly Cain has lived with Ménière’s Disease for 30 years, which is an autoimmune disease of the inner ear, and after using hearing aids for many years, she decided to switch to a cochlear implant for the first time at a hearing clinic in Indianapolis.
After switching the implant on, Holly can be seen looking shocked as she hears the audiologist talking for the first time and can be seen becoming emotional.
