    I lived in Jakarta Indonesia for awhile and the fact that half of these instances happened in Indonesia doesn’t surprise me at all. That place is full-time chaos. Nice people though.

    The ferry had a technical malfunction, thus it could not stop before the pier.
    The ferry is called Tõll and it operates between the island of Muhu and the mainland of Estonia

    In 3:43 where ferry "Tõll" hits Kuivastu harbour in Estonia, the reason was not the speed captain choose but technical error in driving in hybrid mode. Thrusters didnt get as much power needed for braking from power banks. Probably software error. After repair this ferry is back in use and only in diesel-electric mode until this error is fixed. This is the first ferry with power banks in Estonia.

In any country with any high education, there will be accidents. Not because of education but because of experience. Accidents can be avoided if we are careful.
      It's useless for smart people to drive while drunk on the road, and it can cause accidents.

    Wouldn't lashing the containers on cargo ships lessen the chance of losses? The toggles holding the containers to each other may not be strong enough.

      If they made it so they cant fall apart after a certain amount of load on them if a large amount of them shifted on the boat hanging over it could flip or heavily damage the boat kinda like frozen crab pots on those king crab boat they become super top heavy

      the salt water will short out the battery, that is very likely to dump enough power to arc and light a fire so the commentary wasn't that inaccurate.

    It would have been cheaper to keep cars running at idle with heat. Or have a heat distribution system.. Or covered area #1 with enough heat to get above a deeeeep freeze

    Just trying to be helpful for your English. . . . The word “casualty” does not only refer to people dying in an incident, but also those injured. So to say there were no casualties from the incident with the ferry being tipped, is not correct, as there were people injured. I hope this is helpful to you.
