This is nice. I was late to that conference when I arrived, so it's good that I get to see the complete talk online

What a great discussion. I can watch this for 3 more hours. There are many parallels in several places in Southeast Asia, like about excessive rain during the crucial phase of cherry development, or actually excessive rain all thruout 2022-2023 in Sumatra. 120,000-130,000 kg drop in production according to USDA n local data.
There are a lot more parallels, but just want to point out that according to data (USDA n ICC), PH actually import 90% of its coffee consumption, far higher than what she said 6:34. That's troubling and sad. Ironically, maybe at least 50% of that comes from Mayora/Kopiko Indonesia and Vietnam's robusta.

This time, it's more about the science and methodology and not as much about farming, but hopefully you enjoy it also 🙏
