Suganda Review | A WINNER Indian Skincare Brand ? | HONEST REVIEW | A Darling and A Donkey

  • Suganda Review was a very interesting exercise as I discovered how audiences loved suganda niacinamide serum, suganda aha serum, and suganda antioxidant face serum. I simultaenously learnt that there are equal amount of audiences who just didnt enjoy the Suganda products at all. Suganda co has been compared to The Ordinary as a great answer to the brown skin issues and it has also been slammed for some of the ingredients that it uses.
    Suganda as a brand proactively took up the fragrance issue and released a fragrance free line, which is exceptional work. I personally feel suganda as a brand is poised to cross over to the international arena. It def needs to start believing and behaving like an international and big brand instead of being a typical indian skincare brand. One of the biggest brand controversy happens when brands stop listening to their customers.
    I have used Suganda as a brand for some of its products and would love to be able to use their entire suite of products for myself as well as for my customers. Suganda skincare has that potential to make a difference to the Indian Skincare landscape. Here are some things I would love to see change in Suganda Skincare.

    I just discovered your channel. You're so articulate and you spoke my mind and did it immaculately. I agree about the website interface completely. It can be better because it really isn't very hard. I've been using their Vit. C and Niacinamide serums for a while now. Fairly decent products and I think I do see some difference in the severity of my scars. Thanks for the review! ♥️

    Hi Rubina, I just discovered your channel while looking for reviews on Suganda's BHA serum. Must say, the review is so well organised and very informative. My bad that you didn't discuss about their BHA serum. Can you please suggest me a good BHA serum since I'm an "exfoliant virgin", lol? I have sensitive, combination skin and I'm looking for a chemical exfoliant to treat my acne spots.

      Hi Shruti, glad you found the review helpful.
      I would recommend the AHA-BHA gel from reequil. I like this brands formulations- clean and effective. If you would like to use just a BHA I dont know any product better than Paulas Choice BHA...its availalbe on Amazon. Though the Aha-bha from reequill will work just as well.

      @@adv_swagata_biswas Hi Swagata. I bought Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant from Amazon. It did work on my irregular acne and bumpy texture, though I won't be able to comment on the blackheads part because I don't face that issue. If you plan to buy it, I'd suggest to go for the small bottle since it will last you for 2-3 months or even longer.

      You know when I made this video it was about being disappointed that Suganda didnt reach the heights it should have! I was very disappointed with the tardy website, lazy cc because it was bringing down their success story. In my mind as a customer I feel kee agar you are not giving thought to tiny details like just the right sized pictures on the website than how responsible are you with the products! Why does it matter? It may not matter to some...but when i study a brand these tiny details go in to show how serious the brand is about the customer, how much does it value the customer. Does it value the customer enough to take care of the tiny , small things? the website being the first interface between the customer and the brand is really like the first handshake, the first smile, the first hello...and if that is not warm and inviting then...most importantly it shows me how concerned the brand is about the details that go into customer experience and therefore formulations that have to be built responsibly. Success is always the small things done exceptionally well.
      I am sharing this iwth you cause I believe you should know that my hope was that the brand would notice this video and pull up their socks....the fact is they could have been the minimalist/ deconstruct. what do you feel :)
      I am super glad to see it coming around and have been noticing them...

    Hi mam, recently subscribed to your channel and have been enjoying your videos quite a lot. I will tell you about Suganda, I bought many products including the white lotus moisturiser, AHA, BHA, squalene oil, they really did not do anything for me.. infact somehow their products discouraged me using actives. I have recently started using cerave( literally healed my sun baked skin at back my legs in two months). I have used Forest Essential and Kama Ayurveda for so long.. I love FE but Kama but they never really healed my acne spots which I have on my face since college( I am at early thirties now). Except kama’s kumkumadi tailam.. I am switching my entire skin care to minimalist, ordinary ( an bit of juicy chemistry products) and started using actives including retinol.. ur videos are very educating. A lot of love ❤ and thanks for that❤.

    hi, Rubina, Thank you for the honest review. I have used their, BHA, Vitamin C serum and other two moisturisers. Their Vitamin C serum is not balanced, it is mostly oxidised even at the time of purchase. I have been using the White lotus moisturiser for the last 6 months but haven't noticed much difference with the pigmentation. However, it hasn't given me any reactions thus far, so glad. Could you suggest a brand of moisturiser that I could try for my acne prone sensitive skin. i stopped using Forest essential rose gel because it was not very hydrating for the money I was shelling out for last two years on it. I am looking for a moisturiser that can hydrate my skin and remove the pigmentation around my mouth area (brown skin girl Problem) in a pocket friendly way.

      @RubinaSkincare  Před 3 lety

      Hello, I am glad you liked the review. I agree with you on the Vitc and I have had a similar experience but I was not aware that others also has had it. I put it down to may be one off for me and so kept it out of this review.
      For acne prone sensitive skin I recommend Reequil( mattifying), CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream (gel formulation is fragrance free which is better for your skin concerns).
      Pigmentation around the mouth could be due to hormonal imbalance or due use of wrong lip products. Please do check for pigmentation around your neck or knuckles or in other parts of the body. Should you find pigmentation in other areas as well I strongly recommend that you please meet an Internal medicine doctor. It could very well be a case of adrenal malfunction and the right treatment will help you get rid of your pigmentation very swiftly. Its good to know the cause of pigmentation.
      Few topical products could help of course. Pigmentation needs patience and a set of products to work their way to the lower levels of the skin- so unfortunately just a moisturizer will be of no use at all. And the suganda moisturizer will not work at all. For the pigmentation, if you could please drop me an email at rubina@bangaloremobilespa.com I could help you better once I know other details.

      Hi Pranita, thank you for stopping by and glad you found the information helpful. If you dont have active acne currently and your skin is calm you could choose between Vitamin C from Recast, Khadi, and the ordinary. The ordinary also has Vitamin B5 which is great for hydration as well repairing skin barrier. Hope it helps.

    • @RubinaSkincare
      @RubinaSkincare  Před 3 lety +1

      These are both very safe and good combination ingredients as they get along with almost all other ingredients. These are both to be used AM- PM. Use Vit C first and follow that up with Niacinamide.

      Hello Pammi, choosing a niacinamide would depend on what your skin need is if you have acne go for niacinamide with zinc. Choose from #theordinary or #beminimalist if you have already used the #dermaco. If you don't have acne or pigmentation then suganda is good.
