@jctslice - I am not an Eagles' fan but I can confidently say as a Bears' enthusiast that the hire of Vic Fangio was the best decision the Eagles made in the off-season. Saquon Barkley is finally playing with a supporting cast and will have more freedom in this offense than he did with the Giants. I believe the Eagles could be back to the best team in the NFC if the defense gets back to top 10 in the league. Their defense has to get back to being strong like it was.

Philly fans killed him for that and he’s been a hater ever since. The Bay Area started with the Warriors vs Lebron and it’s moved to the niners ever since. The key to the Eagles are their DEFENSE. After Jonathan Gannon left, the defense struggled. Vic Fangio was arguably the most important addition for the Eagles. I am not an Eagles' fan and believe they are the best team in the NFC.

I disagree with nick in the fact losing Kelce is a major detriment to the team. the talent/leadership they have in johnson, mailata & Dickerson is more than enough to pick up the load.
If anything the lineman that could hurt losing is Fletcher Cox. The future is Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Both of them easily could be the best duo in the interior in entire nfl, but those guys are scary young and it’s sketchy. Fletcher holding it down being the all-time professional he was made the line what it was.

I believe their defense will regress in 2024. Any defense that loses Greenlaw and had arguably their best defensive player (Fred Warner) playing with an injury in overtime is bound to give up points to the Chiefs.
No need to fire coaches because of losing a Superbowl in overtime. Just improve the team.

Eagles run a lot of rpo. Th rb starts 5 yards behind the LOS flat footed. When the qb is under center the rb starts 7-8 yards behind the LOS and gets a running start. Breece Hall had a bad O:ine too and made it work. Barkley is really good but I don't think his numbers will be that much better. His receiving numbers will not be better.
I think he will significantly improve with an offense that actually has weapons. Philly has elite weapons all over the offense
